[Help] Have you ever interacted with Fae/Jinn?

I was/am hesitant to make this thread, but hey, there's weirder threads here.

I don't want to sound like I'm bragging in ANY way, at all. But, really do need help.

I have a Familiar; a Fae. Jinn. (or Entity if you prefer) We interact for almost a year. Have nothing, no experience to compare with.

I feel no shame in asking for advice, taking thoughtful criticism, hearing good ideas, etc.

So, I'll keep it short. Any such experience? And would you be willing to share this?

I have the same question for someone else I know in very similar sounding situation . Although, I've been researching it for sometime due to very hidden and particular activity. Sound familiar? Lol. Thus far I haven't found much new yet Fortunately someone on this WF (wizard forum) was really really cool enough to upload a copy of interesting and relevant grimoire dating back to about the 13 century. In English its called The Sun of Knowledge or originally in Arabic (Shams al-Ma'arif) Unfortunately it mostly an Arabic that might be partially of an arcane dialect creating some controversy on accuracy for the translations but some of it is translated in English and there are Jinn mentioned by name in here. I'm on page 299. If I find any promising info I''l be sure to pass it along.

[Help] - Do you believe guardian angels? (or other spirits)

In this context I mean without summoning them. I ask because I have felt like I've had voices tell me "no" before doing something that might hurt me, like as a form of foresight. (And this was before doing anything magick related.) 1768708598 This was supposed to be in General Occult Discussion...

I meant NOT for summoning purposes but, more for understanding their world of bloodlines, interactions and if possible have help if and when need be should interactions warrant it. Although, grimoires no doubt contain how to summon etc etc I don't think that is the answer to all or even wise to approach forces so casually. It sounds like you @Firetree have more of a guardian if the entity is protecting you from harm, Perhaps an ancestor, more recent loved one or yes guardian angel two things can be true at once. When did it start ? Has it always been there? Does anyone in your family have similar occurrences?

I never did 'summoning ' originally . I believe they are part of our original makeup of the psyche , but hidden to most (or 'unconscious' ) .

Summoning might also mean to call something that already exists .

Sure ... especially in the 'other world ' . However their is a difference ; I have contact with a past ancestor , thats different . I have contact with a departed loved one ( that sometimes helps protect me , with advice - and perhaps other unknown methods ? ) but that is different too ... they are not parts of my constitutional Psyche .

When did it start ?

Dramatically and consciously ( 'Illumined ' ) around 8 yo. But I later realized there were indications before and after that .... all my life actually .

Has it always been there?

Yes. As far as I know . Maybe it was 'given to me' at 8 ?

Does anyone in your family have similar occurrences?

Nope . I was told it was 'just my imagination '

Glad you didn't back out of posting it and that no ones grilling you here. I'm new here and thus far seems a safe space for this subject matter. What is it in particular that you feel you need help with? You mentioned a year of interaction. How did you come across yours entity and what gives you the notion its Fae / Jinn? Did you ask a spirit to summon it for you? The other person I know was born with their Jinn and had very distinct marks on their body for privacy purposes we'll call them Raven. Raven had and continues to have the most unusual things happen around them often. In some instance because Raven's activity is partially unseen and seen in a FULLY manifested way in this mortal coil. It has deeply frightened those around Raven so much they find themselves with a small friend circle. As a result I'm one of the very few close friends that has seen in for myself, experienced it for myself and didn't run in fear even though I can see why most people would. Jinn, Fae and Wild Spirits in general are WAY way mightier than the mainstream media portrays them. Can you tell us more of the origins when this familiar made its way to you? Part of why I joined the WF was to help my Yucayeke (village) feel more connected to this realm of the internet & vice versa. "Knowledge is a key & keys are for advancing through doors."

And used the tag 'Raven' ( I didnt want it as a magical name .... not another Raven ! But it seems I cant avoid it / them )

I'm sorry I'm still getting my barrings together on the lay out of this site in replies. Some of that on the thread was meant for Sedim Haba in relation to summonings, familiars and Jinn or Fae. Yet, there is a cross over in the how long in entity has been around. In your case you said most you life as far as you recall. Maybe, someone owes you a life debt. Sometimes they come in the form of a guardian archetype. For example someone that broke a oath to protect you in a covenant your last life has to make good of their end and will be denied access to ascend or reincarnate in the mortal coil till the debt is payed. There are few ways to verify that or similar info. Have you ever considered a really good palmist , mole-mancy expert or any authentic form of divination expert to give you a reading? The really accurate ones are both insightful and motivating.

I have a 'simian line' but it is not genetic or FAS induced . I have spent over 50 years getting 'insight ' , but not through palmistry .

I dont accept 'life debts' .... I actually ran into one of those in this current life . As soon as I met her I knew what had happened and how I helped her . She did not know but was really effected by her feelings and familiarity with this 'stranger' .... I let it be . To explain things to her might have created an attachment to me . She is free now .

Ha indeed! Hilarious. That's more than likely not a coincidence. It sounds like the universe is giving synchronizations but, also comical reminders your on a the right path. Where is the placement of your birth mark? Also, I wonder if this would be ideal ( only if your comfortable) to take a picture of it and post it to a mole-mancy thread labeled the "Marked and Mysterious" a place to collectively organize this type of info? I have no idea how to do that .... I am a very (computer and IT ) low-tec . If I knew how to do that ( and was not plagued by problems when trying to do things like that ... I would post the pics of my temple set up .

Yep . parents not magical at all , Maternal Grandfather only relative I have had contact with 'on the other side ' - Paternal Grandmother - skeleton in family closet , I didnt find out my 'Grandmother' was not a blood relative until in my 30s ! She was probably Aboriginal - they hid things like that back then .

I know exactly what you mean. Its unpleasant to get into with a "familiar stranger." & awkward too. I had a similar occurrence with a old co worker once. Thanks for sharing your Sufi prayer. I've recently have been researching and learning about Sufi related culture. ( synchronicity again) Do you find that the entity brings you a deep serenity when you are distressed not just a voice reason that protects? If so that would be "angelic" energy. Some people around the world including some in my culture believe everyone is born with something similar to one angel & one demon. We do not call them that though. We call them "Guaiopia" (respectively day spirit more angelic by nature) or "Maboya"(dark spirit more demonic nature) They are always there and have a mission to guide you. The one you have strongest connection to is the one that affects your life and afterlife the most. There are rituals to rid yourself or have a deeper connection etc. Some people are gifted or more connected allowing them to be aware on that level.

It didnt feel unpleasant .... I think it may have been awkward for her .... it was certainly getting awkward for her boyfriend when he saw the way she was looking at me . Also my friend that witnessed it felt awkward ( but he isnt really in tune with things like this ) .

I think, to follow up on that one rather quick meeting (it was at a party ) would have been pleasant for me . Actually, it was fairly pleasant for me anyway ..... she seemed to be doing okay , that ' s good .

Yes , and a lot more than deep serenity .

Yes. This is common all around the world and through different times . ( I study Cultural Anthropology and Comparative Religion , so I have encountered this. )

The one angel and one demon thing (in Levantine religions ) seem to come from Zoroastrian teaching where the good manifests as the halo and the bad as two serpents coming out the shoulders .

Your tradition sounds more like the indigenous view here .... for the general populace .

However , in my case (and others ) the 'Maboya' would be 'tamed' and made 'obedient ' under the Magical Self ' and that 'under' the protection of 'Guaiopia' (ie the ' basic magical contract ' ) .

Another example would be in my indigenous teacher ; in his tribe there are spirits like 'maboya' that people fear or are at least wary of . But for my teacher they are his spirit guardians .

Its not a an unknown process, although it may be little known ;

Many things here to consider, I hope I am strong and wise enough to reply. Maybe not to all, some things I am ... in Geas now. It's a vow, but stronger. I will push the envelope as I can.

SHE has been with me from birth, to fill in the part of me missing, for a whole being. I did not seek her or invite her NOW. She needed to rescue me.

The circumstances and details are ... complicated, and personal. Suffice it that these gave her little choice than to come out of the shadows.

I call all such beings Jinn, as Ishmael has, for all our sake, remembered. We owe him gratitude, he has connected the paths, shown me the hidden.

I have such marks, but not in my hands, so may not matter really. However, I was told by my teacher, who was from Tunis, that these others matter.

Matter in that I must be careful. Hidden, BUT enough of that thought line. This should be enough that I did not summon her, did not want this.

I am on a trajectory that I may not be able to fulfill. One of Healer. I, a healer? Preposterous! And yet, so I'm called. Any help is welcome.
