I am from and live in Alabama in the USA. I don't know if that comes as a surprise to anyone or not.
I stumbled upon this forum looking for some more insight into Jacobus Swart's Immediate Magic books. I am mainly interested in Jewish Mysticism, Sumerian Mysticism, and Chaos Magic. I have gone through some of the Quareia coursework, but I lack discipline in the extreme.
I've dabbled in tarot, but prefer my Quareia cards. I've also dabbled in some rootwork(very common here in the Southeast, but still quite hidden), witchcraft, and other folk magic apparatus. Generally, the simpler the magic, the better it has worked for me.
I want to learn more about Scandinavian mystical traditions and folk magic, so if anyone knows where to get a good solid foundation on that, I'd love to hear it.
Otherwise, I'm just excited to be in the company of like minded people, I appreciate the opportunity to be here, and I look forward to meeting some of you.
