Hello to all,
Nice to be in your community.
I am Avrora from Eastern Europe, and I practice Balkan witchcraft.
My grandmother, who was a village healer and taught by her own grandmother in traditional folk witchcraft, was a skilled and wise woman. Local people came to her with various problems, for removing evil eye, breaking curses, curing fright, helping women who couldn’t conceive, helping those who wanted to bring back a departed husband, etc. I was initiated by her at an early age, and she taught me her incantations and magical rituals, as well as the use of magical herbs.
Unfortunately, this tradition is dying out, and with the depopulation of villages and increasing urbanization, very few people remain who practice such knowledge.
I would be happy to find friends and like-minded people, and I am open to communication.
I will share with you some rituals from my practice, hoping you will find them interesting, since as far as I know there is very little written on this subject in the West.

Your story truly resonates with me.
I also feel a deep ancestral calling toward folk traditions, herbs, rituals, and the wisdom passed down through generations. There’s something sacred about keeping these old paths alive, especially in a world that is forgetting them more and more.

The way you speak about your grandmother and your initiation touched me deeply. It feels like carrying an ancient flame through time. I would genuinely love to learn more about Balkan witchcraft and the traditions you inherited. Thank you for sharing such a beautiful part of yourself with us. 🌿✨
