I've been interested in the occult for a very long time but have only, mostly read some books and dabbled with Tarot. I'm interested in starting now. I've had some fears to overcome because of my Christian background and also, to be truthful, vacillating back and forth about whether or not any of this is actually real and feeling very self-conscious about doing something that is possibly not real. But now I have had it explained to me (through a book) in the context of 'energy' which has ihas helped me to get past that self-consiousness and become willing to try. I have absolutely zero community and basically, that is what I am looking for and also to learn, of course.
