I am an agnostic atheist from a conservative Christian background. I write and perform in rock & roll bands, one of which utilizes a lot of religious imagery and themes, another of which is a pseudo-Satanic party band. I am always trying to learn new things to improve my writing and am currently interested in learning about the history, theory, and practice of magick, but know very little besides what I've picked up from comic books by Alan Moore and Grant Morrison. If I can get the hang of it, I might try to use magick to compose some sort of hypersigil or whatever. I'm not there yet though. Much to learn. Any recommendations of books, documentaries, podcasts, YouTube channels, etc. are appreciated. Thanks!

Given that you have cultivated a situation where you make money from what you love, you're already a good way down the road of magic & Alchemy. Moore is a proper Hermeticist too, not a bad source for inspiration.
