Heyla, I'm Elvira!
I've always felt a draw to the occult since i was a kid, Its always played some kind of part in my life (though alot of this i've only realised in hindsite). I have dabbled in/had an active curiosity in the occult and witchcraft for around 9 years now (since i was a teenager), but most of this was vauge, random and undisciplined investgation. its only in the last year i've started to focus and grow this intrest and deep draw i feel to the occult. Partly this has been because of the help of my boyfriends mother, who is herself a witch (she calls me her baby witch, which is such a lovely endearment from her) and has made me feel accepted in this part of myself, and activly engaged me in the occult aspects of her life, thus she's given me the tools/encourgment to fully flesh out this side of myself. I count myself as a beginer, and am still trying to work out how to balence my practice in an everyday/sustanable sence.
I discovered this website while on a undertakeing to source pdfs of quality herbal references books; while i prefer a physical copy anyday i believe that haveing a well fleshed out library of refrence material to draw upon is important, and this is not always achivable, practical or affordable with physical books. I was delighted to find this website as a result of my explots. i am a huge beliver in indepedent sites, wikis, forums, blogs, etc. and think its important to support the indie-web and its continued existance. So here i am.
One thing of note: spelling is a real weakness of mine, i try to proof read, but i will miss things or word things in weird ways without realising. I beg patience and am sorry in advace for my creative use of the English alphabet.
