Wondering who else here might have experience working to connect with the HGA/holy daimon/etc whether you have been successful or not at connecting?

I've used Polyphanes' ritual to connect with the Perfect Nature to great effect and audible manifestation (a clear head voice). Note: I didn't use any of the actual ingredients, but instead writ them out in Arabic (i.e. a note that says "jar of wine" instead of an actual jar of wine; according to Arabic magic principles), so take that as you will. I'm very glad for the experience. I don't treat the Perfect Nature as an independent entity I have regular conversations with except maybe once a year on my birthday (which is when I choose to do the rituals), but instead as an aspect I call on to to help guide me in my daily life and perform daily prayers (Digital Ambler has another prayer I like to use). I'm very glad with the results, I feel like I've had more magical progress in these last 2 years after having done the ritual compared to the decade of magic fiddling I did from my teenage years to when I first did the ritual.

I attempted (rather unsuccessfully) to connect with my Qareen, my Fylgia, and my Farvahar/Khvareh before turning to the Perfect Nature, but I think I just lacked the magical background knowledge to do it well enough. That said, I don't think I'll be turning to them again any time soon and hopefully my link with the Perfect Nature can sustain me through life. Tamagis, Bagdiswad, Wagdas, Nufanagadis!

Just adding on that the only ingredient I didn't skimp out on was the central cake offering, I purchased a very nice decadent treat. I felt like it was one of the most important to the ritual, and well, it is my birthday.

Figuring out how to help others achieve is on the list of those who succeed.

For me it wasn't one ritual/ceremony, it was a preparation of the self with first initiation starting a chain reaction that led to the Angel:
These preps can be put into two categories relative to the Angel:

Passive: Personal development​

Active: Alignment with Angel​

The active part began with initiation and creating a ritual for The Vision of the Holy Guardian Angel from a few books that were available*.
Yet, years before that was meditation practices, metaphysical theory, and ESP training**. Training which continues after initiation with introduction and adaptation to new realities and shed illusions.
Cultivating personal qualities like scientific inquiry(fallibilism) & spiritual dedication contributed to enduring and being able to process the event. Not to say there weren't some nasty bumps, it's fair to say that I barely survived the stresses involved with this method. But I did survive the success in having the hyperphysical experience and drawing coherent understanding from it for future work.

Timelines may vary for others but before the first initiation there was about 5 years prep. After initiation it was 13 years until contact, which was about a year of direct work with months in steady hyperphysical trance. Then it was about a decade of processing that raw experience into something coherent to communicate. Then once that's figured out there's doing something with that which is where things are at now for me and corresponds with establishing a school of thought.
