Hi everyone!

I first became interested in all of this when I was quite young, mainly through Lovecraft and the whole strange universe surrounding his work. From there I gradually drifted into mythology, esotericism, ritual magic and occult history, and at some point Crowley became a fairly major rabbit hole of his own.

Over the years that interest has broadened quite a bit, and lately I've found myself especially fascinated by the more obscure corners of modern occult history — the people, groups and ideas that tend to sit somewhere outside the better-known traditions.

I joined mainly to read, learn, ask the occasional question, and hopefully have some interesting conversations with people who have been around this material for much longer than I have.

Welcome! Sounds like I fall into that category - I'm a materialist magician I believe that all the incredible things people experience through magic are entirely natural - we just don't understand them yet
