Hello! I am Amlet, 35 years old, and live in Portugal! I am interested mostly in Shamanism, and forgoten rituals from Portugal (Iberia).
Found this forum, while searching for the book "The way of the Shaman" by Michael Harner.
Thank you for having me here!

Welcome, wish you great luck with your quest. I hope you share along the way the things you found. Is Basque outside your search area? There is a book about witch processes in Basque, perhaps there is some interesting surviving folklore to be found in that.

Welcome to WF.🦇✨
You might like the books; For the Souls of the Departed: A brief history & sampling of Portuguese folk magic by Darlene A. Sousa, and The Portuguese Witch: A Brief History & Sampling of Portuguese Folk Magic by Darlene A. Sousa. However, if Basque witchcraft is something that would interest you I can think of two books on the subject that are worth while.

Hello! Thank you for the references! Do you know if I can get those books here in the forum?

-->Emma Wilby, Akelarre. I couldn't find it back on the forum with the search function, but I loaded it from a Mega link on WF so it had to be in a collection. @HoldAll is there a way to search within the Mega book collections that were posted by MF members? (Or do I make it to complicated?)

I don't think so. The zip file with my own collection includes all books I've ever posted here. The main challenge was to find books worth posting, most books can be found on welib.org or other library sites anyway, so strictly speaking you don't even need those collections if you want a specific book.

Greetings and Welcome!

Fellow Shaman here, tho I'm a bit more eclectic and not of any particular indigenous path.

Have you searched within Portugal for any Shamanic practitioners specific to that tradition? Like on Facebook or other social media?

None are exactly what you seek, but they may have some info?

Hello! I am not restricted to a particular indigenous path, but I am very curious about Portugal lost methodes.
I have not dig to much about any other people who are Shamanic practitioners near me. Didn´t found the desire to do that, at least, not yet.
