Hello, I practice Aurum Solis tradition which is Greek Qabbalah, I have heard for example of Hestia Goddess of the home, and I ve heard of rituals like LBRP to be done at home, all around the home to protect the home, also Ive heard of Tulpa or Servitors for protecting homes, what can you tell me about it, what other rituals can be done at home for protection?

There's loads of different ways to ward a home. It sort of depends on which system you follow. Maybe it's not part of the Greek Qabbalah, but in Greece itself, use of the nazar, or evil eye, is everywhere. It's the blue bull's eye shape, there's even an emoji for it: 🧿. It's descended (AFAIK) from the Ottoman era, so Qabbalih traditions might predate the nazar.

Personally, I just do a standard cleansing and purification ritual for myself, then a standard clearing and warding ritual, and it's always seemed to work pretty well. It has to be reinforced every once in a while, but that's about it. That's more passive, though. I can't speak to something more active like tuplas or servitors.

Psalms 90 and 91, recited and framed on your wall, etc.
A statue, image, or icon of Michael.
Fiery Wall oil anointed in an X shape on your doors and windows.

A simple formula to recite when locking everything before going out and before going to sleep. for example:

"Just as I lock this door with my key on the physical plane, I am also closing this door on the subtle planes, so that no hostile or harmful force may violate the sanctity of this space. To my guardians and to the guardians of this house, I give thanks. So be it."

An acquaintance of mine who subscribes to Dr. Ali Olimi Patreon said some of the content there was regarding to practices with the 99 names of Allah.

Ar-Rahim: The Merciful: Write the name Ar-Rahim 100 times on paper or wood and fumigate it with dragon's blood resin, then hang it on the door near the entrance and no evil spirit will be able to enter your house.

Al-Muhaymin: The Protector: Bring the palms of your hands to your house's door with your thumbs touching, recite Ya Muhaymin 145 times and your house will be fortified against thieves, and wrongdoers will not cross the threshold.

Al-Kareem: The Generous: Recite Ya-Kareem upon waking every day to protect yourself from the evils of humans and djinn.

Where can I find this purification rituals, clearing and warding? To be honest Aurum Solis does not publish a lot of its work like the Golden Dawn did, and I really love Aurum Solis but I try to learn "White Magick" from other sources because of the lack of published info from the AS, thank you, your reply is very good.

I am not familiar with Arabic Magic you see, your first recommendation about the Psalms I have heard of it as well for other types of protection, and for the second recommendation you give, the one about standing on doorsteps I do have one magick work to "seal" doors and windows, thanks for the reply.

Oh thats interesting. I haven't studied Kabbalah in the Aurum Solis tradition before. I will have to look into that.

There are many things you can do for the home depending on why you are trying to protect your home. I personally have multiple layers of protection so I can give you some ideas. The LBRP is good for general practice. Setting up a magic circle is a good idea as well. There are ones we use for ceremony, but there are ones for protection as well. You can use crystals to create a grid. For protection I recommend a 9 crystal grid. You can set up 8 around the perimeter with one at the center. I usually use clear quartz and program the intention into the crystal.

You can also make protection salt and sprinkle it around the property then place 4 small bags of the salt and put them into the corners of the home. You can easily look up how to make protection salt. There are many recipes for it.

I personally use a fire bowl on a daily basis to keep the home clear. A fire bowl is a done in a fire proof bowl with a pinch of salt and 70% IPA. I also have a "hearth" I use in honor of Hestia and keep it lit all the time. I use warming flicker bulbs. Its not an actual flame but I have been using it for years and it works well.

For servators, Frater Xavier has a good course on how to create them using a kabbalistic format. Since you study kabbalah you may appreciate the perspective.

I'm more of an eclectic practitioner, so....the internet.

What @BBMage posted about salt is akin to part of what I do to ward a house. Protection salt, holy water, smoke cleansing, perfumes and incense - really, there's a lot of options out there. I do a circle, block all entrances with salt other than the front door, and then do a smoke or incense cleanse from the back of the house and push everything out the front door. Close that with salt, and close the house until the sun touches it. For purification, fasting, purifying teas, abstaining from inebriates, etc., then doing a bath, steam cleanse, or even a shower where you wash in clean sea salt before your ritual are all options.

Does your tradition have any type of house spirit or genius loci? Keeping them happy is a great way to ward a home.

The only problem I have with that is that I am kind of Neophyte to Magick, I have read for a while, but I dont trust the internet to do rituals, like for example in this thread Ive been recommended Jason Millers book on protection magick and I have heard good and bad things about the book, I have read most of it, but 2 witches that where very open with me told me they rather do other protection than Jason Millers book.

Also that is why I do basically only Aurum Solis rituals, because I dont know whos Magick is like real, from my perspective an Order like the Aurum Solis is very valid to practice, but I am afraid I will find a hoax, for example there is the Gallery of Magick which I dont like as well, their rituals are so simplified, I think they are fake.

I dont know, we do Greek Qabbalah so we can do other traditions, but Ive never heard of "house" spirits or "genious loci", that is very new to me, Ive heard that there are spirits of the land, like ancient spirits that have been living here before humas started building, I live in Mexico by the way, and I also know about Elemental Spirits, but as you see I am very new to this.

Make one up that makes sense to you, see how it feels. Does it feel like it works? Probably will, and probably will work better than anything premade you could have found. Tailored suits always fit better

That would be a big problem since I dont know how to make my own rituals, I follow the Ordo Aurum Solis because I trust their magick, so I am clueless on how to make my own rituals.

What makes you trust their ritual? What is their rituals feels effective to you?
Is it because they have some kind of history ? Is it a specific aesthetic ? The language or vocabulary they use?

I would highly recommend reading advance magick for beginners by Alan Chapman (easy to find online).
Going through all the exercises is obviously very beneficial and the intended way to experience the book. However, just reading through them can also help quite a lot.
1. Decide what you want to happen.
2. Decide on an experience (ritual) that means the same thing as what you want to happen.
3. Experience it.
4. Enjoy
5. Record results

I would say it is because the more I dig into this tradition, the more I see great men involved, I see the Careggi Circle with Marcilio Ficino, Pico de la Mirandola, they where pretty big in Hermetic Qabbalah and a bit tradition in the Aurum Solis is that, Hermetic Greek Qabbalah, that is why I trust it, like I belive it would be a strong Egregore from the Aurum Solis, is also that.

Like in the AS books they compare themselves a lot to Golden Dawn tradition, but this helps me understand what an Egregore is and how some Egregores are stronger than others, and as well I love the Aurum Solis and got close to it because I am a white iberian man born in Mexico, I always hated Catholicism, with all my respect I think mexicans are being dumbed down with that religion because a well known political party in Mexico has deep ties with the mexican Catholic church, so I know this polititians and the mexican church work toghether dumbing down the people.

Since I discovered "secret societies", and found out that Aurum Solis is about Graeco Egyptian magick, I was blown away, that is why I dont practice Golden Dawn system which I like a lot, but understanding Aurum Solis tradition is pre Christian and is a Mediterranean tradition made go for it, I belive our mexican founding fathers and polititians where and some still are Freemasons, we have a lot of Roman Gods as big statues around Mexico, that also made me dig deeper into the Mediterranean tradition.

I will be checking Anal Chapman´s book, but right now I have a lot to read, I just got my hands on a book about manipulating subtle energy, like pretty basic stuff, but even Ive been practicing and studying magick for like 4 - 5 years Ive never found a book that actually teached the energy draw, or energy channeling techniques, so I think is very important that I read this, thanks man, maybe you can reply to me again.
