How can I be constantly aware of my thoughts, actions, emotions?
And how should it feel to be completely aware of your own self?

Research 'empty-mind meditation' or zazen on the internet and/or check out this book:

I guess practicing mindfulness in daily life is also a good start. I try maintaining an empty mind whenever I'm walking - it's hard but also rewarding: the short periods I manage where all the useless chatter in my head falls quiet just feels good. No words, no conceptual thinking, no judging, no pointless ruminations - paradise! It's an ideal state of mind I'd like to be in all the time but I guess it'll take years of consistent practice to achieve that goal.

Continuous subtle observation of mind by mind is approached by way of one's unbending intent, being an expression and evidence of one's accumulation of personal power to do so.

Such continuous subtle observation of mind by mind is the highest provisional practice of entry-level enlightening activity.

Conceiving the thought to do so is an awakening in and of itself.

It all boils down to a matter of combining a synthesis of nonjudgemental psychological hygiene and a strict maintenance of mental efficiency.

The result of such self-discipline is an incremental conservation of energy that is ordinarily squandered by the scattered characteristic of one's conditioned psychological momentum following thoughts unawares.

Under the auspices of continuous subtle observation of mind by mind, the otherwise wasted energy accrues and naturally fuels one's subtle concentration, furthering the basis and depth of accomplishment by way of the selfless intent of one's inherent enlightening qualities.

Along with HoldAll's observation technique accomplished in broad daylight, such activity is peerless.

You won't ever be aware of all, it's not practical. The idea is to develop a habit of watching what happens and interfering when needed. You will need mindfullness, which is an actual physical skill that grows from use and can be trained (I recommend Igor Ledochowski "The Daily Mind training") but to use this skill you need to become a "stalker" for yourself. It's immensely important practice in the occult, because without it a practitioner can easily fool themselves and be fooled by malicious spirits. With it they have a chance to notice the mistakes they've made and whether they are being "boiled slowly" like that frog.
