How do y'all feel about trans people practicing the arts

I personally think the idea of hating anyone based on arbitrary things like gender identity is a bit strange in these spaces? Especially when so many occult or esoteric/gnostic systems use hermaphrodite imagery to talk about the marriage of the Dyad or even the Monad itself? All expressions of gender are just mirrors of the divine imo. It matters more to master the ego or to be mindful of intent than to worry about things like self expression. It's a harm to none issue unless you hold tight to human vs divine based puritan/moralist systems. I care more about the ethics around harm/force of will/ free will within a community than what someone's pronouns are tbh

I think the pro of anyone with a divergent experience from the norm practicing is that they enrichen the experience for all by bringing perspectives & understandings that the many might not normally have access to. <3

Well, let's rephrase it in this way: if we aim to enrich and transcend the mundane, regardless of the path, then isn't trans a beautiful act of transmutation? I think it is a beautiful expression of human alchemy. So, to answer your question, I think they have every right as anyone else to follow the path. Furthermore, in several pagan cultures and traditional cults, being someone out of the binary system was seen with reverence and importance, someone whose thoughts should be heard because they transcend the earthly bounds.

As someone who also navigates outside the binary system, I find that, in general, those who do not fit the "traditional" model find new perspectives and bring forward a fresh take on the craft. This can be refreshing and expand our craft into new paths, so, for what it's worth, I think good for them and many blessings on those who cross paths with a trans practitioner.

I'd hesitate to say it's irrelevant, but any serious kind of soul-searching or identity formation like undergoing transition is going to entail the same work as magic and is, if anything, a head start or a predisposition to it. Beyond that, the work is the work and people will succeed or fail according to their own discipline.
