How do you communicate with spirits?

Hopefully this is the right place to post this...I don't have any talent in communication. No clairevoyance no claireaudience. I always read about people who receive clear guidance from spirits. How can you do it? Are there trainings or books about it? Thank you

If you are specifically looking for books, please post in Book Discussion and Reviews with a Seeking Recommendation tag. For general advice, this is one of the correct sections.

Ok, thank you. I am looking for general advice for now. Maybe there are just a couple of excercises I could do daily or maybe a structured training... I have no idea.

Is there a way you know for sure that you don't have clairvoyance or clairaudience? As sometimes it can be 'quiet' or unnoticeable at first, but then develops when you start to notice and intend to develop these skills. You may also want to explore other clairabilities and some people are stronger in different senses.

Hello,
Actually I don't know, but you are right. Maybe I just have to want to develop it. I started scrying 10 minutes a day on a black surface every day and see if something wilk change... I read in a book to continue trying

Yes, wanting to develop it is a strong first step! I recommend keeping a journal about your experiences. Sometimes you may not realise what something means in the moment or if an experience was actually "something". By having a written record, you can look back maybe every week or month and you might find something new or interesting from your past experiences.

I completely understand the feeling of wanting a structure when starting out. It can be overwhelming when you don't feel like you have that 'natural' talent everyone talks about. Honestly, some of the best exercises are just simple, consistent things like taking five minutes each day to just sit in silence and observe your thoughts without judging them, or keeping a dream journal. It helps you tune into your own frequency, which is often the first step to clear communication. Don't worry about 'doing it right' at first; just focus on being present and consistent with your own practice. ☺️

Thank you, I am doing something like this actually, but I just started...so it is encouraging to hear from someone else. The silence meditation helps.

I'm so glad to hear that! Keep at it the consistency is really what makes the difference over time. It’s a marathon, not a sprint, so just enjoy the process. Looking forward to hearing how your practice evolves! :)
