How do you find elections for planetary talismans?

I know the basics of what to look for (ensuring the planet and the moon are both in their domicile or exaltation, making a positive aspect to each other, and not aspecting to the malefics or negatively aspected to any planet that might cause problems for the working, and that the moon is waxing) but I'm curious what everyone's workflow is to actually narrow down the dates where these conditions are met. What tools do you use, and how do you go through the data without literally just making a chart for each day of the year hoping to find one that works?
