Honestly, there are like thousand ways to prepare eggs and taste varies greatly. I think it could be interesting.

Me personally? I love the eggs boiled in water for longer time like 10 minutes. just that. Simple boiled egg, then remove the shell and eat. Sometimes I cut it in half and add a little sea salt to add minerals.

How do you prepare the eggs for yourself to taste the best?

"Unfertilised" 😁

Seriously, though, I am very fond of poached eggs and fried eggs.

When I was at university, they fried the eggs by floating them on top of about an inch of oil, thus avoiding creating the crispy black bits (although I know some people like those). Obviously, you can only cook eggs this way if you are making them for a large number of people :)

On holiday in Egypt, the hotel placed fried eggs on top of a small piece of toast so that the egg could be moved around easier, and not risk breaking. How practical!

In the movie "Deep Blue Sea," the chef mentions, "We will start with the perfect omelette which is made with two eggs not three."
Personally I prefer three or four eggs when I make them at home though! ;)

Eggs are great because you can cook them in so many different ways. I like fried eggs where the whites are crispy and the yolks are runny. I like omelettes, and sometimes I like to crack two raw eggs on my pasta. But I'll drop maybe the most unusual way I like them (although I don't eat that often): take two yolks, add a bunch of white grantulated sugar and whisk them till they become a fluffy light-yellow sauce. Drop one espresso in the bowl and go to town.

Deviled eggs with an entire platter of bacon and a Bloody Mary is basically the breakfast that God intended to serve up once we have completed the Great Work 😍

Edit: wouldn't be surprised if this is exactly what Ra is served with the sunrise when his barque emerges from the Duat after slaying Apophis!

For fried eggs: 3 eggs beaten with a dash of full-fat milk. Bake a few pieces of ham, some paprika, onion and mushroom in butter. When soft add the egg-mix and bake on low heat until it's done. Salt and pepper to taste

My all time favorite: egg-salad made from cooked eggs chopped, a little good mayonaise, good quality ham chopped very fine and freshly chopped chives, everything mixed very well. Add to taste a little pepper and salt. Nice to have on cream crackers or toast. In the Netherlands we have all kinds of salads like this special made for a slice of bread, toast or cream creakers. If you eat them with cream or melba crackers it is nice to enjoy it with a glass of wine alongside with it.😋🍷

Yes, you are right, I like to enjoy the better parts of life a lot. I am incorrigible in that.:cool::cool:

my 2 go-to versions of ye olde egg:

sunny-side up
-that is cracked open on the pan and cooked so the white is firm but the yolk is runny. then you can put some hot sauce on there.

soft-boiled
-similar result but when you dip your spoon in, i like cooked white and runny runny yolk. :)
drip on toast. yum

For the perfect soft boiled egg, only like one inch, 2 cm or 3 of water in the pot, so the eggs are just bathing, not swimming. Then put the lid on and cook for exactly 6 mins . you are basically steaming them.
then run the pot with the eggs in it under cold water. :)

Fried eggs over easy for breakfast, deviled eggs for barbecues/fish fries (paprika, salt, black pepper, miracle whip, mustard) , or simple hard boiled eggs with salt for eating on the go.

Omelets when I’m traveling (what’s in the omelet changes every time I order one).
