Registering allows you to see all posts, and make posts yourself, which would be great if you could share your knowledge and opinions with us! You could also make posts to ask questions!

How is this ok?

With an outright lie, or exaggerated misinterpretation of something harmless, the emotional response from credulous listeners is enough for slandering schemers to benefit in many ways from ostracization of a rival.

Avoiding consequences is the difficult part, so usually they'll do it where those being slandered can't respond. If confronted and consequences are near they double down, use evasion techniques, and attack more. In their absolute worst case scenario a retreat pouting like they're the victim with a hope it blows over.
Watched this general scenario play out a few times.

What often happens is the consequences do not exceed the benefits. The slanderer is able to better themselves superficially due to a systemic problem rooted in Machiavellian thinking derived from a malign Dominionist coded cultural upbringing, and so the behavior persists. It's only temporarily beneficial for them, inducing them to more and the behavior is destructive overall in the long term.

There does seem to be some signs of social development against it, but the push against that development is strong, bestial, only self-interested and unethical.

"How not?"

Posting unspecific thread titles should carry a mandatory one-month ban, in my opinion, like "What do you think?" or "I have a question".

I would also like a warning for people who manage to mangle a vital word in the title of their posts 😁
