First, study something that resonates with you. Depending on your location, you may be able to find it; an oracle can help, just as Spirit can guide you onto this path.

Is your question about finding people to practice with? Or are you specifically looking for a coven so you can learn witchery?

I would love to as well. Unfortunately the closest thing I found was Free Masonry but the recruiter will not get back to me. I assume my application was put on hiatus or dismantled.

I would say this site itself serves as a coven, if that helps anything.

Generally, my experience has been that finding a group to work with is both easy and difficult. I have some advice for people who want to find others to work with, and I also have different advice for people looking to learn witchery and want a group to teach them. Really, it depends on what you're looking for.

Also, I'm hearing "coven" and thinking you're looking for witchcraft. If coven means "working group of magicians," rather than specifically witches, my apologies for the assumption.

When I first started out I would always do to the local occult shop and there was always flyers near the register for group meet-ups and the owner of the shop would hold classes on a weekly basis which once I became a regular the people that I would see all the time started inviting me to private functions many of them being coven based. you can start with that or try a website called meet-ups.

I've always wanted to find a local coven or even a online coven to join. But I can't seem to find any that I interested me.
How did you guys find your coven?
I used to have online friends from multicultural backgrounds, most from gaming or common interests like tv shows, that reached out to me during the pandemic telling me they wanted me to join their "spiritual" research. I had no idea they were involved with the occult and I was very reluctant at first because it sounded a lot like a cult. I used to be an atheist when that happened, but eventually curiosity got the best of me - it sounded a lot like larping so i thought it wouldn't hurt to try and it could be fun - so I initiated. We had some group discussions and experiments and a couple months later I started believing in the occult after witnessing some really convincing stuff. After years of studying together we split apart over different values, general immaturity and inner fighting that unfortunately dissolved the coven.

In my personal opinion magical practices can be found in pretty much every aspect of your daily life, therefore if you can't find a coven of your preference you can try to create a less formal group of study with experienced practitioners from scratch (although it requires a whole lot of work since you have to look for each person individually). If you're already a practitioner and are willing to find a structured coven, you can try to do a spell/ritual to enhance your perception and help you identify nearby covens easily. Either way I would heavily advise you to first get to know yourself better and solidify your personal beliefs (worldview, religion if so, values, ethics, figuring out major aspects of your personality, boundaries, what you stand for, what you actually enjoy and what you hate) so you're more prepared to know which ones are compatible covens for you, or where to find other competent students/teachers, without accidentally harming yourself and others in the process

You should try some discord servers or FB pages around British Traditional Witchcraft/Wicca.
