[Opinion] How would you deal with the energy received from being in the public eye?

Hellooo (Let me know if it's not an allowed post to make!) I wanted to chat a little and see how others would deal with the negative energy if they were in the public eye as whatever, a singer, coach, journalist ...

I was wondering (as I keep dreaming about being a singer), considering how social media and people act these days, how would I deal with the attention? "Mmm I might be worried about the hate I could receive, what about threats ..." (Rant here: I had experiences with people slandering me to get me trouble when I was younger, and I have anxiety, sometimes I think about these escenarios and how to use that in my favor or stop them)

My first thought, apart from protection on me and everything in my life, was doing something for that kind of people to regret their actions, then I thought ... mm I don't know, maybe just transmute it into something I want ... now, why not both? Am I not allowed to be a little revengeful if those people feel that untouchable saying bad things constantly, even slandering you in order to make you lose something (opportunities, job)? 😑

Would you do something or your nature/personality would prefer to ignore it?
If you decided to do something, what would you do?

Not exactly taking notes, I wanted to see others points of view on stuff like this, how would others act dealing with this scenario ... to enlighten me, pay attention to discuss with my own self too.

Public figures usually have a team to deal with this; lawyers, censors, team that makes sure that problematic people do not reach you more than necessary.

And what can you do? Keep calm. Do not react emotionally as the first reaction. Keep your energy unavailable to these attempts to get your reaction. Learn when to react and when not to. Your energy is yours and by reacting or not you decide who connects with you and who is talking to the wall. Self-controll.

Maybe if that is a problem to you, you might want to try some marital arts? Or at least start working out. Stronger body helps the soul to remain calmer too, from the simple knowledge of the strength and consequent ability to deal with fights. Though martial arts are better because they teach dyscipline and control.

You're right!

Since I started working on my mental health and putting more effort in training and caring about my physical health, I've learned to be in a better position to handle these situations. Sometimes I worry because of the uncertainty, but that's just me reviving the past, so I'm going to focus on myself instead.

Thank you for your comment, I am going to take it as it's good to keep going this way, prioritizing me. I will have this in mind more often ❤️
