In my view God is simply a consciousness (one of many) that has the ability to bend nothingness to its will. Nothing more, nothing less. Without it there won't be this form of existence, this Universe that we inhabit, but it isn't the only thing that can bring existence "to life" either. I believe there are many Gods in existence and each of them can bring forth a Universe(s) according to their intent which other consciousness can inhabit. And than these consciousnesses can bring forth Universes on their own when ready and mature enough and so on ad infinitum. Therefore God IS a source of life, but it is not the only one in existence. The true source of all existence is the nothingness but since it doesn't exist there is no source at all.
