As requested, I am duly posting an introduction here. I reside in the unceded traditional territories of the shishalh and Squamish peoples, in what is colonially known as the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia, Canada.
I've been a member for some length of time, but have barely visited the forum, let alone participated, until today.
My interest in spirituality and so-forth was sparked during adolescence by the Beatles and other musicians of that era. I read the Bhagavad Gita at age 14, and Carlos Castenada shortly thereafter. I connected with the Kagyu lineage of Tibetan Buddhism a few years after that. Trained in Transcendental Meditation at around that time, and moved on to theravada Buddhism when I felt the need for a more all encompassing spiritual practice.
I've been a member of the Golden Dawn (Horus Temple) since 1991 and (c)OTO since the early 2000s. Much of my practice in recent decades has been in the Poison Path.
