Seeking Recommendation I need help - books for a beginner

I'm a complete beginner here and honestly have no idea where to start with magic. I'm really interested in learning, but everything feels a bit overwhelming at first.
Could anyone recommend where a total novice should begin? Any basic guides, recommended reading, or advice would be greatly appreciated.
