I've already started reading a free copy of Berhatiah: Ancient Magick Conjuration of Power that I found, and I know there a translated book of the first 10 chapters of Sham Al Maarif. I just want to know, am I on the right track, I really don't want to spend like 50 dollars on another book. I want to be able to communicate with Djinn, and I have no clue if this one book is enough to meet one.

Wait, never mind, it wasn't a free pdf, it was a preview. tsk

Berhatiya is interesting. You have the conjuration oath and the names. The grand ritual with oath, spamming it 11 22 33.... to some absurd number of times a day. Names which need to be spammed to get them "unlocked".

These techniques can be very overwhelming, they involve a lot of processing. These names kind of need to be read a lot more than the numbers given, for better effects. About like the 99 names of Allah which require a lot of work. Unless you have done a lot of processing like this before, you probably should be cautious. Reciting a lot of different stuff can give annoying instability, depends on the practitioner.

In the Maarif book, I think it was suggested in there, I can't read Arabic so I am not sure 100%. The ritual with special dua kursi, not the verse but the long extended version. This one is quite good. It needs to be read a lot as well for the connection and effects.

The methods like this might not give you a live communication, many people only get dreams where they show up, crystal clear dreams where somebody comes and communicates and when you wake up you remember everything. Also states where you are somewhere between being asleep & awake and having a communication.

With the dua kursi and similar, the energy can be felt all around and sometimes it could smell like roses or some other flowers, it comes out of nowhere. This happened to me with the last 2 verses of the 9th chapter as well.
I remember a couple of people reporting getting strong powerful dreams where somebody showed up, I also had such, they came and spoke. You might also see some flashing lights or something.

Again, not sure was it in the Maarif or not but a ritual with the chapter 112 from the Quran, 1000x something a day, often they show up in dream like state.

Both the Berhatiah and the Shams al-Ma'arif (selected translations) as well as several books about the jinn/djinn are in our Library. Additionally there already have been posts about working with them, did you check those?

If you don't mind me asking, have you done work with the Djinn. For someone who can be a cynic, do you any advice on how to meet one sooner? You mentioned the section from the Ma'arif book, how many dies did you have to say it, and do you think that would show up in the English translation of the book?

Yes I've experimented with the Berhatiyah and rituals which supposedly came from the Maarif book. Although I can't be sure about that because without being able to understand Arabic I've only got the words of some Sufis. They claimed them to be from there, from the Maarif book.
I've worked with the texts like dua kursi, bahr, a few others and the main dhikrs, main ones of the 99 names.
These texts do bring the servants near you. The so called holy jinn. There were cases where somebody showed up in the dreams, lights in the room and notable results. Also conversations but without visible anything.

I worked with them in a relationship where the dhikrs and duas were read as a payment for favors. This is a good method without any serious weird side effects. The only bad ones were spiritual overloads and tilted mind from excessive recitations. The methods are very tedious.

I'm not exactly sure whether it's from Maarif or not but there's a method you can try. It's to read the last 2 verses of the 9th chapter in a retreat mode for 7/10 days straight, all days long. I believe it's a few less than 5000x 9/128 and something close to 5000 9/129. About 800-900 per hour, it's madness. Takes entire days.

I don't know the exact calculations but the chapter 112 needs a few more than 1000x like 1005 for something to click.
Without knowing the right values the option is to spam and then something will show up. It can take a while. This isn't exactly forcefully summoning anything, but something will come either visible or through dreams, or you feel a live communication in a special state.
With the verses, dhikr, salawats and such. You can expect special effects.

There's one with the chapter 73 where it's recited 140 something times, do 150 to be sure it clicks. The duration is 41 days. During this time something will happen. Seems to work in any language but Arabic is preferred for easier and stronger connection.

I had a lot of physical manifestations with the spirits from there, asked for something and it was granted. They were especially good at giving strange jewelry pieces which I found randomly outside, felt guided, gold, silver, necklaces, not always so valuable. They did expect the energy to be given in return, recitations. Unfortunately my mind screwed up quite bad since my main work has always been more with the psalms and texts with a different energy.

Are there any that don't require me to go into seclusion? Or is that the necessary component, that is fundamentally required?

And how did you like those books? Did most of them require seclusion or long periods? Did some stuff feel liked it work and some other didn't?

Mostly I liked
Red Magic - Grimoire of Djinn Spells and Sorcery
Sihr afarit djinn and how to summon them

because they are straight forward to summon, it maybe takes a little for preparations, but you do not need seclusion .

I'm reading the book right now, and I'm just wondering if you can recommend the page on maybe the SIhr afarit djinn and how to summon them, with the easiest to do ritual that would help me keep my cynicism down. I don't want to make it look like I'm rushing, but I'm a natural downer when I don't see a little bit of results at first.

Can you perhaps give me one ritual that personally eased your doubts?

I'm reading both just to get a feel of them, and I wonder if for a beginner, which rituals in the books would you recommend to start with to gain confidence in the system, in regards to both books

I read those books very long time ago, and honestly I can not remember which page and as I said I move to Persian and Arabic books so sorry if I can not help you in this issue as well as we are not allowed to provide rituals in this forum. i am sure you will find out which one is best for you.

You need peace and quiet when doing these methods. You don't have to be a cave monk but being undisturbed is important. Some of these are supposed to be done during nights they say, although seems to work fine day time/evenings.

Not everything worked so well. Weird spiritual states became annoying. With some people we attempted to get connected to the jinn of some Quran verses. All had to stop after a while, 10-14days, because of a too disconnected feeling to reality, very annoying. At the same time nothing that bad happened with the main hot dhikrs. The verses for us didn't feel suitable because of the other practices each of us had done, I guess. For some dedicated full time sufi they would be easy.

With the servants/spirits of the dhikr, first 3 of the 99 names results were better. The majestic verses and dhikr felt better. Hot = ones with Allah in there, fierce energy, better outcomes. Some people feel better with the verses, chapters and prayers that are the opposite, with less power words. Hot ones though can make you very aggressive because of the blazing heat effect.

Things don't always work as expected, it depends on your background, how actively you have worked and with what. The overall senses, connection and openness.

The best connection and results came with the dhikrs, these spirits showed up the fastest, into the dreams and something quickly happened.

The chapter 73 gave visions of some floating white ones. Then something triggered blue looking jinn to appear in the dreams. Another made a lady looking servant show up. Then some holy looking men with turbans like they depict the sufi shaykh. These all came with some tangible results afterwards. Nearly impossible to remember which triggered what. They all did trigger something.

Basically if you were to spam the main 99 names, dhikrs, power verses from the Quran, chapters, Berhatiyah names/oath, or short salawats in substantial quantities for weeks, a month, 40+ days, you'd probably get something going, with contact one way or another, results. It works but the effort is required.

What do you think about the book Jinn sorcery by Rain al amin. One of the rituals from the book is this:

To summon the qarīn without incense or fasting Sit in a dark place and recite these two names one thousand times: Ya Qarīb, Ya Mujīb. After that you recite the conjuration given twenty-one times and you will hear the thin voice of the qarīn speaking to you without seeing his figure.
