As I delve deeper into ancient practice and become informed through research, the mind and body stir. Practices far removed from my comfort level and alignments hold great power and I consume the knowledge with cautious reverence.

Lessons found here regarding ancient Goeitic, solomonic, Abrahamic and other gnostic teachings captivate my consciousness yet im humbled. The deeper I delve, the more I acknowledge both the significance and insignificance of my pressence in this plane.

My ignorance is yet to dissipate yet I realize now, that this fact is the foundation of my journey. The acknowledgement of "ignorance" is the sundering of pride and arrogance

Definitely shook me when I heard incoherent whispering and banging on my walls after exploring Goetic scripture.

I felt compelled to continue and was given a warning, not to be spoken.

I am. at peace with these encounters yet I'm not accustomed to such powerful intrusions of mind and physical space

Yes i know the feeling. Ive been doing this for 10 years and about once a year I have an experience that rocks me so hard psychologically that it borders on an existential crisis. The universe never stops pulling us deeper when we embark on this path.

I consider myself blind at this moment and this warning is an eye opener of sorts.

Humans playing with fire seems a true interpretation of the Goetic practice and an adamant mind will be essential while wading through the fringes of insanity.

That which the fire does not consume consumes the flame, ignorance can take on the guise of self-assured knowledge, do not fear casting off all that you know, because if none of it is true, none of it is worth keeping.

Most things you've learned throughout your life as a small little person are warped and incorrect, from the perspective of a fish in an infinite ocean. Great leviathans swim in this ocean with us.

I argue that faith is a bad route to go, anything that the mind constructs is likely inaccurate, fuzzy, and pixilated, a distortion of the truth, and your faith is built on concepts. You don't want to be heartbroken or driven insane when you discover your faith is a child's crayon rendition of a Michelangelo painting, you need to be able to let go of it if you want to accept the more divine and beautiful truth that your monkey brain never could have constructed on it's own.

Conscious awareness is the foundation I recommend, it is as close to the Divine Mystery as you can get, and is always there regardless of what's happening. If you cast off all your ignorance at once, you will find everything you know has abandoned you but naked awareness, you'd be like an empty cup, ready to be filled by Truth.
