OK, we are indeed taking the piss, but the reason is that we get people come along to the forum every so often, saying things like "I have seen the light", "I have discovered the sacred truth", or "I am the Sun god Ra" so you'll forgive us if we've got a bit sceptical by now.

Understandable. How could it be proven? Would revealing Truths be enough? Showing the Divine Thread that connects some people, places, events, through Time itself?

Well normally, when we get down to details, the other person either a) goes off into vague hand-waving, b) says things that are factually incorrect, or c) stops answering questions.

It's difficult to talk about things you believe to be absolutely true when those things are not provable. You had a real experience. No-one is saying that your experience is not real. But trying to persuade people that your interpretation of that experience is the absolute Truth is onto a hiding to nothing.
