We might not need a new thread for any music genre under the sun,
but the defining role the Industrial genre played in the radikal evolution of music,
my personal love for it, and the connections to the occult it's creation had made me create this thread.
Industrial's roots lie in the projects tied to 'Thee Temple of Psychic Youth' 丰 and Throbbing Gristle,
later Psychic TV, and of course later beautiful Coil.
The cut-up techniques and abstract synthesizer and experimental audio acoustic approach shaped the way music is approached and produced today.
Later the Industrial Rock and Metal genres joined the party.
