Hello everyone.

I am a Brazilian initiate of Afro-diasporic (Umbanda, Kimbanda and Candomblé) religious traditions and an independent researcher of magic, occultism, ritual technology, sacred symbols, and traditional spirituality. My interests range from grimoires, planetary magic, and talismanic practices to African, Islamic, and Western esoteric currents.

I value historical sources, practical experimentation, and respectful dialogue between different traditions.

Glad to be here and looking forward to learning and sharing knowledge with the community.

Hi uilianv, I'm also an initiate of an Afro-diasporic religion: Palo Mayombe.

Welcome.

Welcome.
Hello! I love Palo Mayombe. It is a religion that shares the same roots as Quimbanda and Kongo-Angola Candomblé, although it has a much more visceral character. I would be very interested in exchanging ideas and knowledge with others who practice or study these traditions.

Hi, I knew Mayombe and Quimbanda shared common roots. In fact, down here, we sometimes refer to Quimbanda as "Brazilian Palo." But I did not know Camdomble and Palo also shared roots!

There are a few of us now here who are into Afro-diasporic religions. A thread for it should be started.
