For some people this might sound a bit unsettling, but insects are an essential part of the natural cycle. Often, the fear of them is something we’ve been taught rather than a purely instinctive reaction.
I’ve lived in a number of different places over the years, and I’ve noticed that in each place, one species of insect was more prevalent than another, and they were always different species. Insects seem to have a spiritual significance; perhaps they are even something like a familiar - appearing in our live to bring a certain message or reflection.
Spiders are weavers of fate; they represent creativity and protection. Ladybirds bring good luck; ants work hard and build solid foundations.

Have you ever noticed certain insects appearing repeatedly in specific phases of your life, and did you attach any meaning to it?

Yes, not just insects though .

Animal signs and omens of all types are significant in indigenous tradition ,

Eg ; I am sitting under a tree with an elder at my place , we are watching certain species of caterpiller , marching along the ground , nose to tail in a long line .

Elder ; ''You know, when they do that here , you can go to Yellow Rock ( 40 km away on the coast ) and catch nice bream ,''

Black cockatoo , certain calls and behaviors - rain within three days .

When I was building my temple in the back garden , everyday 3 ravens came and watched ,,, VERY interested they were .

My teacher is ring-tailed possum totem ... I have a ring-tailed possum sleeping over my bed .

HUGE stick insect decides to hang off a plant right over the path into my cabin ... for days . It eventually shed its skin and grew nearly twice as big .... followed by a life changing circumstance for me .

and so on ....

I have had some cool experiences with moths.
One literally (during the day time!) led me from my apartment, walking up a river, up a canyon, most of the way, until it led me to a grove of trees and my intuition told me to dig under a bush. I found a cloth satchel full of seeds.
True story.
Very strange, i was on the Toltec wavelength at the time.

Depends on tradition. I've had strange insectoid-like experiences in Qliphotic mysticism as well as having what I thought was an "insect-Exu" come to me in a dream. Mind you, I can prove none of this, so take it all with a grain of salt. That said, I've always correlated insect with "alien" forms of intelligence. Think Kenneth Grant type shit.

Centipedes. I found one in my house once. I never saw one before that or one that was so and was scared of it. Then I researched more about centipedes and they were amazing. I was awed at their speed and ability to hunt other bugs.

Centipedes also have a lot of symbolic nature asscoiated with death and protecting the dead with the Ancient Egyptian god Sepa or centipede of Horus. They also apperently are a sign of good luck in a lot of folklore as being healers, perseverance, or even money.

I feel connected to centipedes and I feel like I understand their energy. They are dexterous fast and perserve through adversity.

I read one article that the Navajo have stories about giant millipedes or centipedes. Giant centipedes and millipedes did exist at one point and centipedes back then probably could get big.

300 million years ago though there used to this.

Imagine that walking around. I bet it was terrifying back in the day. But so cool to me!
