interesting thought about an old saying

I'm sure you've heard the saying " you don't know what you have until its gone" well I recently got my eyes checked and was prescribed a pair of glasses and I noticed a big difference in my vision being a lot better and it made me think that the inverse about the saying is also true, "you don't know what you're missing until you have it"

it makes me wonder what other things are missing from my life that most people have that I don't even know is missing because I've never had it.

The human body is amazingly adaptable.
We go through periods of mourning or elation at new or old losses or gains.
At the end of the day the brain rearranges 'itself' to be the best filter it can for the consciousness(es) residing inside and outside of our physical form.
I recently lost half the hearing in my left ear due to Menieres disease and it really depressed me.
Now I am sort of used to it.
I have already mourned, as a musician it is terrible. But it could always be worse.
Be thankful for what you have.
Physical life is brutal and too short.
