Good time zone all!
My name is Hannah and I am so thrilled to have found such an informative forum! I am extremely new to studying ceremonial/occult magick and am currently studying to join the AA. My background is in witchcraft and funny enough I was told recently that someone was surprised to see me pursuing more ceremonial, structured type magical systems because I seemed more witchy. I suppose I am at the phase in my life that aligns with Scientific Illuminism, aka, find what works and do that. I am pagan and have done a sparse bit of deity work that, as you can imagine, yielded results that deity wanted for me, not exactly what I was asking for. PGM work has been more successful for me in that way. Plus, I love history and learning about the philosophies and beliefs of people that in some ways feel so far removed from us today yet are aligned in our aims. To tell Fate to suck it and create the life YOU want to live.
I love learning about spirituality in all forms and look forward to how this path changes me. And! I hope to make some new friends or at the very least, have my perspectives challenged.
