Hey everyone,

First post here. Name's Ombriel, writing from Java, Indonesia, so if I
reply at some cursed hour, blame the timezone.

My path is a bit of a mutt. I grew up around Kejawen (old Javanese
mysticism: fasting, laku, the idea that your own body is the altar
and the battery). These days I'm building a daily practice out of that
plus breathwork, gaze training, and the usual witchy staples: candle
work, shielding, tarot. Less grimoire, more discipline. I'd rather do
twenty quiet minutes every day for a month than one big flashy ritual
and call it a week.

I'm early and I know it. Not here to claim titles. I'm here because I
want to be around people who take this craft as seriously as I do, and
who'll tell me straight when I'm wrong. I'd rather be corrected in a
thread than learn the hard way out there.

Currently obsessed with: defensive/martial magic (wards, binding,
banishing), and how far inner-energy work can actually go before it
stops being "just psychology." Fair warning though, I don't summon,
I scout. Ask me about goetia and you'll get a tarot spread and a lot
of caution. That's a choice, not a lack of interest.

If you're into energy work or SE Asian folk magic, say hi! I'd love
to trade notes. And if anyone has beginner-friendly recommendations
on planetary magic, my list is open.
