Invisibility as a way of life

As the title suggests, what do you do to keep yourself invisible? The church and many others including the political spectrum have been persecuting witchcraft to this present day. In what ways do you practise invisibility to maintain what you have created? Or what do you do to just not get noticed ? I prefer to lay low and bring attention to myself. I wear dark colours I pray to the divine to keep me from peering eyes. It usually works unless I forget to pray before I leave the house. The golden dawn system is interesting though I don’t practise ceremonial magic myself. Damion Echol says to meditate and invision a black egg around you. I’ve tried this but not sure if it works. The book invisibility by Steve Richard’s is good but dated. Is there any new ways of being invisible ? What do you do?

If you practice in your own house, your own private space and make sure that you outside don't talk about it, no one knows.... and simply wear clothes that are quite average in your region. No need to do something special.

Oh, and I am curious from where you from. Here in the Netherlands there is no witch persecution by the church or political persons at all.

I was hoping to more come across with the point of how to be invisible without doing some sort of high magic. Maybe I needed to think the post through more before posting. The idea came to me when I was meditating this morning. I’m from Canada

Practice thinking quietly and observe the way cats move about. They are naturally more quiet than most. Thats how I practice that since I always wanted to win at hide and seek as a kid.

I am a Shaman, we wear masks. For ceremonial and very practical reasons, when we Practice.

I wear a type of Mask when out in public. My Turquoise and sliver? Under my clothes. No bumper stickers on my car!

(yes, I see this!) and an Alibi. VERY important, to have an Alibi ready for when a street-preacher assails you.

Best bet is to pick a non-controversial but obscure Christian faith to reply with. Mine is 'Seventh Day Adventist'.

Most won't even know what that means, and I actually WAS one when I first left the Roman Catholic church, I know them.

It's not a lie, I still feel a deep connection to them, but can't be a congregant any more. (I know where the local church is)

I was thinking: a lot of people are better quiet walkers on barefoot and a lot of shoes have noises. Choosing the shoes wise, walks more quiet.

To OP about shields: there are all kind of shields and I saw that you are currently working with a black egg. I would say, experiment other colors, other densities of the outer layer, with making the feel different, start making the shield from another starting point than you are used to. Keep a diary how people are reacting to it.

You can also try to work with glamours.

Another thing that came to my mind is observing. Observe outside the people around you how they are behaving and copy if there are any relevant things. I should certainly search for mundane solutions too.

Simply don't go out of your way to be "obvious". The fourth side of the "witch's pyramid" is to be Silent (that includes thought and speech as well as direct marketing!). Don't broadcast your Thoughts! It draws attention to you. If someone mentions something to you regarding "things occult" be cautious about what you say and do. It would be unwise to wear a black pointed hat with a wide brim "unless" it's All Hallows Eve! You don't owe anyone any explanations unless you run afoul of the "law" where ever you are. Cause people to "earn" your trust! Think about where you are, who you're with, and why those things matter? You should be all right. If someone sees something suspicious then sometimes we must remind them to get some business, they're own damn business! Yes?

Forget about practicing magick, I run this website and still, with basic OPSEC and digital hygiene and good old “shutting the fuck up” basically get 0 attention from anti-occultists. It’s really not that hard to be quiet and mind your business and practice in peace without drawing attention.
