It is recommended, here is why:
Every day performance of ritual will help you build discipline.
Training ritual over long period of time every day will give you experience and will help you understand some of the secrets of doing magic effectively.
Yep, more or less... and for over year and half.
Why are you interested in magic if you don’t believe it does anything? What is the “anything” that you want to happen?Does it do anything? I find it hard to believe that doing it would do anything.

I feel like it works for some people but I'm blocked. I want to be able to see and hear spirits.
Then I suppose that you should suppose that you should not.

Can you ride a bicycle ? If you can, did you start at BMX level doing back flips ... or did you concentrate first on staying 'upright'?

a balanced practice will do the invoking in the morning and banishing at night.
Only doing the LBRP will stagnate your progress.
The middle pillar is a good exercise and will help you in a number of ways.
A daily practice is an amazing thing to do. Personally, I find that a daily banishing is over the top for me, since I already have many protections. Instead, I do small daily offerings and communion with certain spirits to keep my most basic commitment to them. I also do short daily meditations, although I sometimes have to pause these for a few days at times when life gets very busy. Daily offerings to specifically smaller, more local spirits have helped me vastly increase my spiritual senses and have given me great relationships that empower any future magick.I feel like it works for some people but I'm blocked. Rankine talks about license to remain to play nice with local spirits. Jason Miller does offering workings for local spirits and to make peace with any spirits he's wronged.I don’t advise doing the LBRP every day. In my view, a properly performed LBRP drives away all kinds of energy from your surrounding space both positive and negative including energies that may be beneficial to you, such as good luck. I have seen that frequent use can create a sense of isolation , a kind of energy silent around you, from your environment and may affect the natural spiritual presence within your household, including ancestral spirits and local spiritual entities. As a practitioner, I personally use the LBRP before and after major rituals, or whenever I feel or sense that there is an excessive amount of unwanted energy in my space.I would even advise seeking permission from the spirits already present before performing it . One way I do this is by stamping one foot three times on the ground and verbally announcing my intention to perform the ritual and apologizing . Lastly in my communities witches(human possessed by evil spirit) are real and such ritual interrupted with thier operations epecially which may alert thier attention to you and as a beginner it won't be a good experience you would love to have. Talking from personal experience .
middle pillar is an exercise, lrp is a ritual.Would you say its better to do middle pillar instead of LBRP?
This is why ethnogens exist. I won't tell you that you should do them, but I will just say that, for thousands of years, they have been used for this very purpose. Just remember that they were used in a sacred way, in conjunction with rituals (such as the LBRP), purification, etc - not for recreational purposes, not just for fun, not just for amusement. If you just want to "see spirits" because you're bored and curious, go to the park and watch people playing with their kids and imagine they look weird and speak a language you don't understand. Same thing. You see and hear spirits every day, you just filter the fact that they're spirits out of your mind.I feel like it works for some people but I'm blocked. Well with a bicycle you have a guide like your father who would hold the bike and move with you while you try to balance. If you're about to fall he would catch you. Eventually you get the hang of it. Basically you're guided and can see progress and results. With the LBRP you don't know if its doing anything or if your progressing.
