Is there any connection between Inner Fire (tantra) and witch fire? And what does awakening the witch fire means?

I was watching a group descussion (sara mastros, bj swain, alison chikosky and Alexandre moor) and they said that awakening and discovering the witch fire is the first step to become a sorcerer.

Cross culturally magic tends to be seen as some kind of fire, or felt as a heat. Multiple systems see it stored in a stomach (below the navel). Though almost nothing is universal among humans, so this isn't either.
IMHO there are different flavors for the flame, so it "witch flame" and "tantric flame" might not be the exact same thing. But they are (again, in my opinion) extremely similar.

Nah I don't think so like I do know bout tantra tradition it actually comes frm the indian subcontinent specially regions like bengal and it is actually a non vedic tradition which means it's somehow non religious and more on breaking taboos as well dogmatic beliefs ... It does has many hindu rituals btw the core is indigenous with myths and beliefs of goddess like Durga, kali and other non vedic goddesses as well gods

Beside indian tantra tradition In the context of Tantra specifically Vajrayana Buddhism) Inner Fire is known as Tummo which is actually a yogic practice frm Tibet so physical heat generated is a byproduct. The real goal is to melt the "white drop" at the crown of the head... It's pretty dangerous as well Precise ancient and usually requires a lineage or teacher to avoid "kundalini syndrome"...

I personally believe this inner fire is related with the Sun and the "Phallus" as a symbol of creative power i truly believe that through specific rituals practitioner could ignite this internal heat to achieve Union with the Divine....
