So Recently I did a ritual to Ereskigal in Michael W. Ford's book Sebbiti and I think I had a spirit visit me but it wasn't Ereskigal I felt the name Helena..but after doing a Google search Ereskigal does have kids but I haven't found any named Helena could it just be something else?
When things happen I cant explain, or if things are unclear to me, I let it sit. I dont try to force meaning. I do the ritual again a few days later and ask. If its important it will make itself known. Sometimes its just a mystery, and that has to be okay, or you will drive yourself mad.
It could also be that your energy is bright like a beacon since you did the ritual, curious beings are drawn to that beacon out of curiosity. If you feel the presence again, ask for the name again. Tell it to leave if it doesnt align with you. if it stays after that, well you just might have something to work with. Proceed with the ritual as you did before, something obviously worked.
