Is this real?

There is rumors about two movies that are supposedly cursed: The Incomparable Atuk and A Confederacy of Dunces.

There cases strike very similar to me, so I have the same questions for them. There is many podcasts, videos, blog / blog posts, and or etc discussing the subject matters.

How / why would these movie adaptions be cursed
Is it real? Or just coincidence?

Does imagining a fictional character as one of the main characters and or other characters from the stories cause something to happen, like death?

Does expressing interest in the roles and or adapting and or making anything related to the stories(movie, novel, short film, skit, music / song, visual art, comic book / manga, etc) cause the curse to take effect / affect?

Would someone saying 'I am going to play Atuk." And or something similar? cause the curse to go after that person and kill them? Even if that person did not have any true intention to do that? What if they did have true intention? Does it depend if one has read and or created a script first? What if one said it just to see if something would happen? What if one were to write an adaptation and film it just to see if something would happen at all?

What is someone tried to write a new screenplay / film adaptation? Would the curse go after that person and or people for making one if they had true intention? What if they had no true intention?

What would happen someone decided to make a fictional character of their, who is white / not Inuit, similar to / just Atuk? Or like an alternate version of that fictional character being Atuk / a story where that fictional character is Atuk?
Apologies for the poorly worded question, it is from an intrusive thought in my head.
How can I protect my fictional character(s) that I have made from that happening? I do not want to / do not intend any of my fictional character(s) to be Atuk / make alternate versions of them that are Atuk. And I never intend to make / replace Atuk in his story with any of my fictional characters.
Even though it was just an intrusive / unwanted / scary thought, will the curse go / come after me & kill me now? Is there a connection now with me and my fictional character(s) between the curse? How can I separate the / this connection if it exists? Would true intntion, fake intention and or no intention at all cause the curse to come after me / and or bring / bring back the entity / spirit to come after me na kill me?

Can one protect themselves from the curse? Especially from dying from it? How can one forget about learning about this completely?
I will take any suggestion for protection from the curse / just in general.

I apologize for so many questions. I just want answers so I can move past this. Please have a blessed day.
