Thanks bro
Thanks! Lots of interesting tidbits here.
if you copy and paste 呪術の日本史 into annas archive you can find the originalThanks! Lots of interesting tidbits here.
Do you happen to have the original Japanese text? I want to follow up on some of the mentioned sources, but I am not sure how they are written to even look for them.
book share is for english only, so this why i replied this way. otherwise i would share the originalif you copy and paste 呪術の日本史 into annas archive you can find the original![]()
thanks for acknowledging this. Im not trying to sound ego driven or anything, but the chintaku reifushin literally took me 8 hours a day for 2 months to complete, because the text wasnt copy and pastable, I did that completely from scans of old Japanese text.I noticed that this and all of the other books on Onmyodo that you uploaded today are the exact same files that user Kusuri uploaded not long ago, but with the file names altered slightly. If I recall correctly, one or more of them were books that Kusuri themself worked to translate into English, so it seems a tad disrespectful to reupload them without crediting their translation effort. While I'm certainly happy that you're sharing your collection with us, it's starting to look like you're mostly reuploading files that you originally downloaded here in the first place and that still exist with live links in the original threads.
If the files are in fact identical, I'll merge threads. You could save me some work though if you indicated which of your files corresponded to which that @Mh4419 uploaded yesterday. It would be interesting what @Mh4419 has to say - did he 'clean up' these files somehow, or reformatted them, did he mean to reupload them (the chintaku refushin link was dead until you reuploaded it to your new account)?thanks for acknowledging this. This particular book was fairly easy though.
I partially feel flattered to see these circulate but dont see why a double upload would be neccessary? I just want the west to have access to more info like this.

Just if anyone was curious... all the onmyodo texts i uploaded was either machine translated, or directly translated by myself.

@SkullTraill @HoldAll does this mess with the duplicate thread ruling in the book share rules?
I did not download here, why you say that ? How do you know? I have my own collection outside WF.I noticed that this and all of the other books on Onmyodo that you uploaded today are the exact same files that user Kusuri uploaded not long ago, but with the file names altered slightly. The only way you could have had these a long time ago is if we exchsnged some of them as friends through another platform personally or perhaps knew each other on facebook within the last 6 months? I am intrigued?Sorry guys, I did not mean to cause any troubles, I had those books for long time with English translated, so I decided to post them, so I would be happy if Holdall remove them.

Not exactly, but it is the same as the book I uploaded in this thread:If the files are in fact identical, I'll merge threads. Btw. does this book correspond to the "History of Onmyodo" uploaded by @kusuri?
Ok, I'll download and compare the files later in the day, don't have time right now.The only way you could have had these a long time ago is if we exchsnged some of them as friends through another platform personally or perhaps knew each other on facebook within the last 6 months? I am intrigued?
Not trying to pry too much but are you affiliated with the 23rd current or CMN in any way? I shared some of these books in trust to members within these groups prior.
Some of the the others only recently translated moments before uploading them. The Chintaku was only one really publically uploaded to internet archive as thats my baby lol.
Either way I dont care that much or ask for anyone to prove anything. I will go ahead and start collecting links of duplicate threads so they can be merged.
