Over the years there have been several historic references to the Taishang Zhengyi Mengwei Falu (The Registers of the Orthodox Unity Covenant with The Powers Transmitted By Most High Lord Lao), which was said to be the original covenant that the First Celestial Master Zhang Daoling received in 142 A.D. on the Singing Crane Mountain in Sichuan from the Most High Lord Lao.
As such, this book exists as a part of the original Celestial Master Daoist priest training and contains the early Celestial Master history, lineage, spirit registers, exorcistic marshal generals, special protection registers, and long-life registers. Also included are different purification rites, personal heart seal patterns, destiny guiding stars, different classifications of rank, invocation talismans, and sex magic rites.
As an overseas senior abbot, I received this special training manual from the Celestial Masters’ Mansion at Longhu Shan Monastery right after being awarded my 2nd Zhengyi Abbot Ordination Register (Lu) back in 2011.
