So today is Sunday, and on Sundays I tend to do some magic. A usual component is feeding a money bowl I've had going for a year or so and doing whatever other general magic I feel like doing. Well yesterday I finished reading Damien Echols' Angels and Archangels, so today I decided I was going to toss some angel stuff into my Sunday magic time. So I got set up and did Mr Echols' celestial lotus ritual (just the first stage) which involves invoking a number of archangels and angels of the sephiroth, then I did my money bowl stuff which involves replacing old money with new money, invoking some jupiterian spirits, etc. After all that, I was just kind of meditating and enjoying the vibe and I decided to do a little instrumental transcommunication work (solo estes method with a SB11) and something very clearly gave me what I think is probably a name "Ruachiel" (at first I thought it could have been "Muaphiel" but it became clearer when repeated), so that was fascinating, I don't think I've ever heard that name before, but it'll be something to look for, I'll see if I can get him to come back another day. I've never really done much of anything with angelic spirits before, and I was shocked that I could have an experience like that so quickly, although from what I have read about angelic spirits, they apparently have a reputation for wanting to help people and being pretty readily contacted, so maybe this is that?

Hi, I'm very surprised you saw this so quickly. The name "Ruachiel" does appear in occultism and angelic mythology; he is the Archangel of Air, associated with the astral light. His element is wind, and he is mentioned in Aurum Solis (if you'd like to read it, it's available absolutely free online). I think you should try to contact him again and find out more.

So is he affiliated with Raphael then, somehow? I ask as I'm a big "fan" so to speak, of the entity that is Mercury/Raphael and have done a bit of study and practice with that entity previously, I wonder if that makes me somehow prone to contact with airy elements. Thanks for the lead on the book, I will definitely check that out

I can't give and don't know a precise answer. However, both Raphael and Ruahiel belong to the element of Wind and perform the same functions in rituals. It's important to note, however, that Raphael is a traditional archangel, while Ruahiel is just an angel.
