On March 10th, 2026, I've had an interaction with or more-so witnessed a ghost; La Llorona.
I was taking a bath during the afternoon, when in 17:17 I noticed a figure on the reflection of the tap. The first thing I thought of was that she looked like Sadako/Samara (the ghost from the horror franchise Ring), she wore a white dress and had black hair covering her face. I turned around, and no one was behind me. I looked at the tap again and I saw her moving in the reflection. I know of a lot of female spirits with both themes of water and bathrooms, I started looking up some that I remembered, and then heard a cry. It sounded like a baby crying. For a split second I dismissed it as a neighbor or a child on the street, but then remembered the "Crying Woman", "Weeping Woman", "Woman in White" who fit everything that happened - La Llorona. I did not remember her name at first, only some of her lore, so I looked her up. I saw that her name was La Llorona, like I used to know but forgot. I looked up again, and she wasn't there. After I already got out of the bath, I looked up on google and pinterest to see depictions of her through art and, of course, a lot looked exactly like the one I saw. I wasn't very surprised by this, because it's a very common look for ghosts, especially vengeful ghosts. Anyhow, these were the facts - now, here's how I interpreted the event; I don't know her intentions, but I believe she only made an appearance to show me that she was there. Right when I looked up some ghosts that haunt bodies of water like baths, I heard the cry, which told me it was La Llorona, whom I remembered as "The Weeping/Crying Woman". I don't know the slightest thing about angel numbers, I'm very undereducated on it, but I did feel like the hour had to have meant something. Not only is it hard to believe it was a coincidence, she also communicated with me through signs (like the cry), so I thought it was worth investigating. What I mainly gathered from angel number 1717 by looking it up and browsing a few sites, is that it means you have an important soul mission, that involves teaching and serving humanity. If that is the case, I interpret it as her asking for me to learn more about her, and pass on my knowledge. It does make sense she would choose me - I am very fixated on certain types of vengeful ghosts and do teach a lot of their lore to people who didn't even know of their existance, yet I forgot La Llorona's name, although she's one of the best vengeful ghosts.

I looked up a ritual for summoning her, and found several. One states "You should stand in a dark room with mirrors, specifically a bathroom, and chant her name three times." I also saw some tips that state it is best to have as much water as you can in the room, so filling up the bath and the sink would help, and that you should have as many mirrors as possible in the room, to largen the chances of her appearing in one of the reflections and to allow her more movement. I plan to look more into the angel number 1717 to see if there are more specific ideas for the "important soul mission that involves teaching", then learn everything I possibly can about her and her lore, and once I feel my mission has been completed, I'll try summoning her and see how things go from there. I still have a lot to learn, I've made a pinterest board with general pins about her and I'm using a translator as most of the things I find are written in spanish. I'm hoping to update about this soon.
