i have been approached and iniated by them in my dream. lilith came in first, she strike me as dark figure in the shadow watching me unleash my anger in dream (im quite avid in lucid dreaming), seems like she want me to do shadow work?. then she kept showing me to reach out to her and told me to not follow grimoire because she reflects my inner self. and along her is samael, please take a note that i dont know any of them, i just started witchcraft because of these 2, and i was atheist (i am still a catholic but i dont believe in "Christian God") and also take a note these visualization are merely my observation. lilith appeared to me as a woman, i cannot see her face at all she was just shadow figure. in numeours symbols she showed me, theres a "cost" that comes if i do work with her which is isolation, lilith wasnt scary as people described and lilith doesnt want to be restrained by anyone or in this case it might be the grimoire that dictates her as a whole because she is a relfection of people who worked with her. either that or people UPG cant be trusted. she doesnt wanna be called "mother", she certainly doesnt want me to worship her, she came onto me as myself, yes she says she is a reflection of me. i went to cry at my desk as i realized that. i have been a master of self rejection and i have been harsh to myself, i let people walk over me and dictate what type of person i am. Lilith showed me that forget about these rules to call her, in fact she showed me that she is already around me and she refused to be controlled; i cant control her to protect me etc, she rather works with me for my own self and that will be much preferred. when i figured its her in my dream, she gives me a song "love found in hopeless place" by rihanna and i feel peaceful. she doesnt like structure, she allows me to be creative.

then came along samael. take a note i dont KNOW his appearance at all but he came into me as darkness figure like lilith but he showed me 2 wings with a scythe. how do i know its samael? literally he showed me his name, and he was with lilith (lilith also showed me her name). i believe he was at the astral gate as i can feel myself drift to it. he didnt say anything. through symbols, so far i can interpret it as if i choose to work with lilith then he will also come around, but again the cost is i need to detach myself from physical world or this could mean an isolation. after being iniated by two of them, they no longer appear. they want me to figure it out myself. i set them and put their pictures and i can feel lilith heavy energy when i put her picture in my book so i tend to close it. sidenote, i dont put her image from grimoire, i put her shadow self, the one appeared in my dream as a woman with darkness all over her so it fits perfectly with what i saw.

now moving on, has anyone experienced the same way with lilith? she came in my dreams a lot, 2 months ago. then the following month, i got chaos all upon my life, my friend betrayed my internship and.. just a lot of things that started to make sense to me. some people arent meant to be with me so yeah.

has anyone experienced the same way with lilith or samael in that regards? i dont wanna sound crazy because i kept getting a reminder by my subconscious mind to reach out to them but do not follow the grimoire or any techniques written in the book. that seems counterintuitive but i will follow my own method. i guess, i was wondering if anyone has been approached by these 2 at the same time and whats ur experience? thanks in advance

okay, I kinda want to talk about litith for a minute.

In the Talmud. Rabbi Hanina writes “One must never sleep in a house alone, for whoever sleeps in a house alone shall be seized by Lilith the Night Monster.”

Lot of stink has been made about lilith over the years, she is one of those demons/witches/creatues/vampires that has a cultural cache. However, due to some weird translation shenanigains in the bible(specifically Isiaiah 34), Lilith is now associated with vampires, and vampires are now all actually women.

Now, what a vampire actually does, hotly debated. Medievalists tells you a spiritual parasite that sucks the lifeforce out of you, likelly being a personification of some combination of grief and miasma around the dead. Pop culture tells you its a blood sucker who can make other bloodsuckers.

But, if were taking a biblical perspective, vampires are all women. And even if a vampire is some kind of weird energy ghost, who says a wierd energy ghost can't be a woman.

What I'm saying is, that lilith clearly didn't approach with hostile intent. Otherwise, you would be dead. If that was lilith, then lilith wants you alive.

Entirely related, If I were to propose that lilith was doing vampire forcefem on you, how exactly would you feel about that? And, if the only way to stop lilith from curropting you and turning you into a evil mage, was to beat her to the punch, would you mind being a girl?

Mika, I don't know your gender and pronouns, perhaps you already are a woman. And this whole point is moot, but if you are a cis dude consider, Why would your inner self be represented with lilith? Why does your mind portray that inner, powerful, magical self, as innately evil? Those last two questions are also viable if your she/her already but still.

also note, misread your post, correct the line to lilith being the powerful side that you have declared dangerouse to "Why does your inner mind portray that feminine self as a equal you have no choice but to actually work with" especially in comparison to samuel who is just like "hey, if you follow me you'll end up at the grim reaper, im the male samuel btw"

No clue what dude above me was even talking about, holy fuck.

I have had lots of experiences with Lilith that have a similar line to the way you describe her (she is my Matron btw). I learned from her directly without the books when I was brand new without even 2 months experience.

Regarding the isolation, part of that is required for the path. That said, be careful with it as too much isolation isnt good for anyone. I should know, I live almost off grid out in the woods with the nearest neighbor 1 mile away from me. Isolation for a time is spot on for the work. I trusted Lilith and I am just fine.

If you are learning directly from Lilith and Samael, you probably dont even need the books and grimoires. I mean you already have the contact, the rest of the occult world can kick rocks if they have a problem with it. Most stay on the outside with symbols and moon phases, not the path work, so dont even sweat it. Just own it, stay authentic, and go burn.

For the pearl clutchers, this is the path work, not the exoteric book club. If this shit scares you, no worries, its not meant for you.
