Hi everyone,
I’m really struggling to find a good, up-to-date book that focuses specifically on Minoan religious practice.
I’ve already read “Nanno Marinatos’s "Minoan Religion" (1993)”. It’s the classic, but it’s getting pretty dated and feels like she's forcing it all into a Mother Goddess box.
So I’m really hoping for is something that:

So I’m really hoping for is something that:
- was published in the last 15-20 years (using the new Linear A re-evaluations);
- deals with the archaeological evidence honestly (not just assuming everything is a goddess);
- covers the transition to Mycenaean religion, did they just rebrand the Minoan gods?
