Looking for Truth

Hi everyone, nice to be here. I joined out of curiosity, but also out of a desire for truth and something beyond the physical world. I come from a Christian family, and I have only recently been exposed to much of the new age material, as well as Gnosticism, mysticism, supernatural phenomena and the like. I would like to believe that these concepts serve a functional purpose, yet I continue to maintain a degree of doubt and hesitation in practical application. At any rate, I hope to learn something new at the very least. Apologies for the lengthy introduction.
