is it common for you to lose interest in practises and or religions they are invested in, even if the belief as it is is still present
as if you are feeling on a wrong path everytime and clash with your views on what you should be doing
this affects consistency and though it is common for me in other fields i wanted to seek advice from those who resonate with this topic
how do you manage?

I lose interest in most of the things sooner or later, including paths I explored, and deities/entities I worked with - I tend to return to them eventually, as it's completely fine to me to do so -, but in most cases I rather take it as 'something else is calling, and I listen', and not as a 'failure' or a loss of 'faith' I'd need to cope with. Perhaps because my true faith lies within myself, and what I've built and solidified through my experiences, or sole intuition that always guided me and had my trust.
It's not a sin nor an issue when you have the urge, the intuition, the calling to seek out new things or lack interest in one you had before. It's a sign your soul is craving to seek for more, whether within that belief system you followed, or it is an attempt to show you there's more than what you are firmly focusing on, and you may have just missed it.

It is not a loss for me. If anything, it is a chance to learn something else other than what previously did interest me, and what was not interest me beforehand. I don't follow a specific 'belief' system, which may help me not think of these turns as a 'betrayal' of it, or failing; as I was always following my feelings, intuition, therefore I haven't failed myself, which is the most important wherever you go, whatever you practice, whoever you contact.
Briefly back to belief systems, I always had my own, and it just further developed through my years of wandering. I never took 'taking another turn' as a loss or something negative, because all of the walked paths has been a part of me, and helped me to form what I believe and how I understand things.

Change is natural, and it's a part of our learning, exploring, understanding and drawing conclusions.
Sometimes, even people will try to make you feel like you commit a crime, a sin by 'going on a different path', but you really should not allow that to happen. The only thing 'obvious' in your life is you.

How many times I felt like 'finally, I found where my place is', and then it just became one of the many way station for swallowing knowledge, experience, inspiration, finding answers, just to proceed. I learned not to see these as 'permanent'; I learned to respect these, and take the most they could give to me.

Man, I can really resonate with that. I have evolved and grown a ton. Yep, parts of this path, that belief, all of it. Saint nailed it with her reply. Not going to rehash, but add a perspective you might find helpful:

Who told you/me/anyone that we have to pick only one and stay with it indefinitely? Maybe it is just fine to evolve, to learn and become more. One path you whole life, or branching off here and there for a season to learn. Each path or belief in this thing we call the occult is filled with lessons we can learn and grow from. There isn't a 'one way' or 'right way'. So long as you are growing.

Being stretched is uncomfortable. And yeah, sometimes its painful when you start to lose belief in certain things, that's normal. There is so much out there, and the you now may not resonate with what you currently hold as true in 2 years from now. Thats okay.

Being human is messy as hell. Embrace it, all of it. Or go mad. Its a choice really.

Its common for probably everyone doing long term work. I find that I either need to look for inspiration through study or I need to simplify and strip away the elements of my practice that no longer feel fruitful. I've gone long stretches where I've done little more than just breath meditation.

I don’t lose interest in my practice, and I practice daily. The clash is less about my own views and more about how my path conflicts with world views and their perspectives, so I choose my level of visibility intentionally. I have an inner circle of quite some trusted people who know about my spiritual practice, an outer circle of online spaces who know certain parts of me, and a public circle that knows nothing.

I also translate my practice into normal world terms like framing spellwork as goal setting, so it feels normal to talk about.

I have a good discernment skill which reinforces what I know and helps make my beliefs stronger. And of course, discernment requires a lot of practice.

for you to lose interest in practises and or religions

this affects consistency
I resonate with the topic. In my case I have been using the same texts, mantras, for ages and ages.
There were times I was really bored, the same thing every day, I had to force myself into the mode until it became "natural".
You can lose interest in the practices and feel boredom which affects consistency, feel like a toast questioning everything. Your views might change. You could feel like going crazy. You can also get in the "go with the flow state" and surf the waves. Sometimes practice x is very boring until you reach a milestone and then you cannot believe how good effects it's giving!(y)

It can be very challenging to keep the same thing going. Then again if you do manage to stick to the same path & practices, consistency will pay off somehow. It's like going through the jungle and cutting everything down with a machete, heading in the same direction until you find the temple & treasure, something of value.
I never really lose interest in doing practices but some particular thing can become boring. These days it is easier thanks to the previous experience but it was really difficult for a while.
