What would you say the Laws of Love are for a human being?

Truth comes to mind.
Trust comes to mind.

From Qabbalah there comes alot of Sefiras like Foundation, Malkuth and Perserverence or Netzach that could also be used.

But what else?

I guess in a general "platonic" sense, all the Sefirot and more, even big baby Din, which some say the rectification of is what its all about. That is, in respect to the human being, a general call for asceticism for the sake of a higher world where sentiment gives place to the joy of absolute being without referents.

In terms of the "shadow world" of the senses, "love laws" as a term seems both intensely active and yet contradictory (like poetry). On one end, the rampant passions resolving to making babies of which all aesthetics seem derivative. On the other end, spreading of diseases via illicit unnatural acts that scream "liberty" out of one mouth of the multi-headed beast and "limerance!" out of the other.

I hope it doesn't sound too cynical, but I find some equivalency in a primal sense, where the human vocalization of "I love you" can be translated into a growling of "I want to eat you."

Ahh the paradox of the reptile brain and the Heart. A fight of good vs evil that is within. Our reptile brain is the survival circuit of the human being, while our emotional side strives towards Love and sex is it's Foundation.

Yeah, the "sacred marriage" to repel the "dragons" and fix the broken vessels within and with, Zeir Anpin unites with his Nuqba, but only at certain times of the day - or ritual imposes order over the house scurrying with vermin.

In the morning, Ishtar commands soldiers to arm for war, but in the evening they must lay down for love. Maybe a Law there?
One for the twilight times.

I'm glad you brought this subject up, especially in reference to the Qabbalah, as I expanded to include more spheres and this matter is something that needs to be addressed.

As something that has to be nurtured and maintained
Conscientiousness, in the sense of empathy and accord. Works in harmony with other Virtues, perhaps even contributing to making the virtuous whole greater than the sum of its parts by its activity. And ethics being ethics, with maybe carelessness or negligence being born as the vice that works with its others. Has a Maleficent and Original Snub signature, giving a placement on the Body of Nuit(Tree design I follow rather than Body of Adam Kadmon).
