Groups are tough. Started a couple. I was in OTO. Very good folks there overall, even if I don't care for the specific system. Liber Al + EQ is a pretty great cosmic vision, though. And the AA routine is a pretty good intial training system. We don't have many.
Spent a fair amount of time among Haitians in Vodou, learning to parse the sublunar operative end of this stuff. But many years I've mostly been a solo, self-taught Grim Verum practitioner, with a Buddhist meditation practice, and very personal Folk Catholic theurgic sacramental practice.

Fairly quiet response wise, I did think this was the wrong category for this - I posted it in General Occult but it was moved.
As for me, I was in an Odinist group in the early 80's, followed by starting my own group - but agree with you MorganBlack - groups are tough and a lot of work. Then spent 5 years in the ONA through to the early 90's.
Been working individually since then, mainly traditional witchcraft(Black Dragon stuff) and daemonolatry.
Considering having a look at The Temple of Ascending Flame - just got their 7 day initial rite - might be interesting - been working with Lucifer for years as a daemonolater.
