The mushroom is the sexual offspring, it is not the being... The end result is the same regardless of how the mushrooms are procured and harvested. There is heavy personal bias in this statement; your view gives your work power, but it is not the law for everyone. It is nice that you have psychedelic mushrooms growing around you just down the street, but I live in a shithole city and do not want to buy from the dealer down my own street.

Exercise, Yoga, steam/sweat lodges, cardio, seeing a PCP, sunbathing, breathwork, physical therapy... there are countless ways to maintain your vehicle, many physical problems can also be the manifestation of psychological issues as well and don't even need physical treatment. Diet and nutrition is a facet, but depend on it at your pleasure, it's your body after all, you are the only one who has to live in it.

And quest and trip are colloquialisms, they both describe taking and experiencing psychoactive (or psychedelic) substances.

There is a world of difference between tripping in your mom's basement on impulse / out of boredom and purposefully setting aside time, setting up the space, having an intention for the experience, and devoting the whole of your being to the experience consciously. This is what makes ritual effective, the difference between the two is painfully clear.

I believe there are plenty of Discord communities for that kind of behavior. Displacing your insecurity onto others is an alienating trait that will not help you, and is a symptom of someone being uninitiated. You are clearly young, and I forgive your transgressions. Know that there are many here on Earth and beyond it that are not as forgiving.

UPDATE: I have a full setup now.

I have a plastic sanitary cube. Inside the cube I have a growbag with Golden Teacher (I plan on getting another strain in there in a different growbag) with a little thermometer and a heater set to keep the cubes interior around 76 degrees. My apartment never goes above 80 degrees now so... this should be it! In a month, I'll report on what I've grown.

Update: both my heaters shit the bed and my batch of golden teachers sat around in 50-60 degree conditions. I got a new heater and inseminated a batch of Lizard King, which I feel a very strong connection to. Have a good feeling about Lizard King
