Video sequence – construction of the Hoover Dam (then Boulder Dam) on the Colorado River (USA) from 1931 to 1936, during the Great Depression.

The construction provided jobs for many people and customers for a significant number of companies. Along with the construction of roads (Interstates), this project helped overcome the economic crisis of the early 1930s.
