I want a friend take over my social media account once I'm buried and send everyone 'Damn its really fucking dark here'

Anyway, I'd be just about fine with this one. I've lived more lives than enough, I haven't died quite as much.

Also this. I'm thinking I have a couple serious songs here and there then this is just in the background the entire time.

Does death come alone
Or with eager reinforcements?
Does death come alone
Or with eager reinforcements?
Death is centrifugal
Solar and logical
Decadent and symmetrical
Angels are mathematical
Angels are bestial
Man is the animal
Man is the animal

The blacker the sun
The darker the dawn

Flashes from the axis
Flashes from the axis
On the hummingway
To the stars

Holy holy, holy holy, holy, oh holy
Holy holy, holy holy, holy
Holy holy, holy holy, holy
Man is the animal
The blacker the suns
The darker the dawns

Lots of black lace at the grave side

Or..

Hang me in a tree so the corvids can eat my eyes(lucky birdies get to see what I have seen, with these eyes)
I get to listen to(but not see) the dawn chorus every morning until my ears have finished decomposing.

I got inspired by this one. Decided that it must be interesting to hear what you would want to be played at your funeral...

Mine... well...
Mine would have to be "Harder Better Faster Stronger" by Daft Punk. Fuck all of that sad mopie stuff.

(Love world of warcraft by the way)

Structure and delivery of the event may vary with attendees since it's for them, but upbeat songs as processing and celebration after the release of grief during the funeral is common.
On that note, for the reception

Great songs. But yes, agreed. It is for them. But, honestly, I think it is partly for me too. I have a message that I would want to pass down to them. Which is that my death was not a loss, but a new beginning. Which is something to celebrate. (I would likely have someone recite those words actually)
