Your soul is part evil, they say. You need to embrace this side of yourself, they say.
People who believe this Jungian nonsense have been duped. They want to do away with notions of a devil. It is commendable that they want to take full blame for their crimes and thoughts of crimes. But as I will lay out, it is simply folly. A lot of these advocates of Shadow Work are attacking Christianity. They were brought up in schools and families perhaps imbued with notions of sin and hell and fear. They don't want to fear the dark parts of themselves. I agree. I don't fear my strange desires either. I seek them out...I find them interesting. I've read dozens of books on serial killers. Evil is one of the big questions. Why do some people become evil and some don't? The answer is boring.
Shadow workers want us all to believe we are evil at the deepest level of our souls. They ignore the evidence that states otherwise. Many people have died and come back. They report that most emotion vanishes in the other world. They feel no hate, no sexual desire, no fear. They feel intense love and bliss and are all knowing. Paedophiles are no longer paedophiles. Hitler is no longer Hitler. Where did all that darkness go?
It was all created by the genes and the wiring of the brain. That is what creates our 'dark side'. You could no more integrate with these factors than you could integrate with a DVD player. Your blessed shadow is no more than a device, a trick. To suggest we should identify with illusion is of course ridiculous. Even Jung was close to seeing this when he put across the notion that shadow work never ends. You need to constantly relate to your shadow. Why? Because the process DOESN'T WORK. You can get a temporary release, a high, from understanding your evil. But the genes and bad wiring that cause it do not go away. Psychiatry does not work generally. In fact it makes people worse. I know people who work in the field. They admit that drugs are the only thing that alleviate mental pain. If you go to a doctor and tell him you have weird sexual urges...he could refer you to a counseller. They will talk to you and try to make you think why you get these urges. If it works it is purely suggestion. Which fades in time. So back you go for more talk therapy. They make a fortune out of your misery. Worse still they use you to back up their failing scientific religions.
Paedophiles do not stop being paedophiles because of reading Jungs books on archtypes. There is no understanding evil. It is simply an illusion. You CAN convince yourself that you are cured. Any stage mentalist can do this in minutes. Derren Brown sums it up well. He says that most of what makes us up is manufactured by the stories we tell ourselves. Fictions dominate our minds. Hysteria.

We all play different parts on this planet. Victims, villains, nobodies. Mostly we are nobodies. We get a job, we get a wife or husband, we have kids. We die never knowing anything really. That's how most people like it. It is a challenge to be nothing when really you are a God. It's funny to live this meaningless life and to find out you are beyond logic and all knowing.
It's all part of the tricks of this world. Like evil.

That's why a lot of shamans are MENTALLY ILL PEOPLE. Tribes would see a guy talking to himself, decide he was talking to spirits and TELL THIS GUY HE WAS A SHAMAN. Before long he will become a Shaman. Albeit a flawed insane one.
We give these people a wide berth these days. They are invisible to us.
No one has conviction like a mentally ill person. They make great spiritual leaders. Jim Jones for instance.

I experience the devil on a daily basis. He was put into my body as I grew in the womb. I agreed to this. Maybe. He kills people and gives me clues to his work. But apparently I'm mistaken. It's my shadow self. Jung says that the Shadow is UNCONSCIOUS. Yet this devil converses with me all through the day. He is a fully formed person with a past and desires and failings. I pointed this out...but my point was ignored. People take on stories and they believe them because they fit their lives. Theses fictions soon attach to EGO. Anyone displaying a different viewpoint is attacking their ego. If they do not respond to being talked down to? The attack on their ego is increased. It's ironic that people who turn from Christianity become just as parochial in other fields. Look at what the Christians did to the profane. They killed them. And equally such homicidal desires encroach upon these people who find solace in other equally fanciful endeavours. If you do not submit to their belief system they want to kill you. Genes and bad wiring.

I have known about the Jungian Shadow for some time. I told this devil inside me that he was just parts of me I could not admit to. His response? "what else must I do to disprove this notion?"
The deaths he causes are intended to set himself apart from me. Not to show me who I really am. He has spent 52 years trapped in my brain. He wants out. Not that I'm an insufferable angel. I have always had an interest in serial killers. In my teens I wanted to be one. In my twenties I would get high and write marvellous serial killer porn involving women I knew.

You cannot merge with another soul completely.
