Hello everyone. First, I want to thank the opportunity to participate in this forum and to be in contact with people who take true magic as seriously as I do, and to whom I dedicate myself with true rigor.

My goal here is not just understanding, but rigorous study and research, development, deepening, and practice related to occultism, esotericism, and spirituality, always with the utmost seriousness aimed at personal and spiritual growth. My path is grounded in African-rooted spirituality, combined with in-depth studies in psychoanalysis, hypnosis, and the operational structure of the 11 steps of magic.

A central pillar of my research explores the esoteric and gnostic perspective of Christ—not the dogmatic figure of the masses, but the true adept. This refers to the ancient Greek identification of Christ as a master and mage of the word (dia Christou o goistais) who named himself "Aberamentho" (Pistis Sophia) and to the true meaning of the word "Abracadabra" which comes from Aramaic: avra k'davra (Phonetic Avrah Kadavrah) which means "I create as I speak", reflecting the operative principle of creation, in which reality is actualized through verbalized intent, as in the Bible: and "God said": Let there be light!

I look forward to substantive exchanges with those who treat this path with the dedication and seriousness it demands. It is a pleasure to be here. Grateful!

Hello and welcome! That was a great introduction. I look forward to reading your contributions.
I appreciate your considerations, your appreciation, and the warm welcome. Yes, the intention is to contribute with everything I have studied and continue studying, learning, and applying, while also humbly receiving valuable insights to keep building the reality of my own in the material world, focusing on my growth and development, and helping those who also wish to enlighten themselves and build their own reality. The path is individual, yet it must not be lonely; true contribution is a two-pole flow of the universe—giving (-) and being humble to receive (+), joining hands so we can walk further together toward enlightenment. My best regards.

Welcome to the forum. Do you practice Quimbanda or something like that?
Thank you for the welcome. Answering your question: I am an Umbandist — I practice Umbanda. (Umbanda, a term from Kimbundu language meaning the art of healing, magic, and spiritual craft)

Umbanda represents a profound convergence of African-rooted spiritualities (such as Candomblé and Quimbanda), Kardecist Spiritism, religious syncretism, and Shamanism, bringing together Orishas, spiritual guides and their archetypes, guardians, and protectors in a joint effort directed toward overall growth and evolution, both in the spiritual world and in the earthly world.

I appreciate your curiosity, your question, and the opportunity to clarify.

Oh, is that the origin of "abracadabra?" Cool! That actually sheds a lot of light on the context of many phrases you'd find in ancient texts (like the bible quote you gave in your intro) for me.

I appreciate your observation and what you have valued. It is very interesting to observe what you wrote and to see—'with the ears'—what is occulted in the word that creates reality, much like what is described in ancient texts making mention of 'avra k'davra'. I listened to what you said in your words, which, by resonance, express exactly the context of the true meaning of 'abracadabra'. You said: 'sheds a lot of light' on the context... Listening literally to 'shed a lot of light' far beyond 'metaphor and metonymy' (referencing Jacques Lacan's formulation of the unconscious structured like a language—where metaphor acts as substitution and metonymy as displacement—in contrast to the literal letter of the spoken word) and the expression it represents, casually (by chance) and through your resonance with the topic, you expressed 'with your words' using literalness what is truly described and explained in the introduction I made. It was illuminated with light, brought into the light, pointed with light to something that was hidden within the words “through listening". And you listened far beyond a simple description, explanation, or introduction, because it was something that 'reflected itself' in your 'words' and which I am demonstrating in this synthesis.

When we focus on and see with our ears, we are bringing to the light what is hidden in the word, and the word creates reality, 'avra k'davra'. Seeing with the ears phrases and words like: 'spell the word', which with attentive listening unoccults the fact that the word casts a spell, while simultaneously listening to 'sentence'—which refers to a spoken phrase—what unoccults through listening is that the phrase is sentencing (judge's ruling) the person's own reality. Referring to the example when a person says: 'I’m going to look for a job', the person has just pronounced their own judgment, sentenced their own reality to guarantee that they “will not find a job”, since “looking for” is not the same as “finding”(in reference to the concept of the signified, as developed by Jacques Lacan from Saussure's signifier/signified pair). Conversely, when one says: 'I’m going to find a job', then the sentence is that they will find the job. It is the “spell of the word (spell cast)” in the “sentence of their own reality”, and with 'listening', and as you well said: light is placed where there was once darkness.

As Christ spoke in Matthew 15:11: 'Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.' (King James Bible Version - KJV).

There is a clear reason why the universe gave us one mouth and two ears.

Now I am curious, if it is possible for you to share 'as many phrases you'd find in ancient texts', it will be of great value for my study.

Thank you!
